I’ve never known that the brush had a system basically for the dog. I like the lint roller for the couch but want to try it on the bed and lampshade.

If your dog sleeps with you, another great hack is to put your bedding in the dryer with a dryer sheet before washing. A lot of the pet hair will be removed. I saw a video on the internet of a family's Roomba's map of the area it had covered - turns out there was a perfect outline of their dog!

Been following your Instagram for around a year now, but admittedly this is my first time checking out the RUclips. This is a well made video, tackling all the aspects of taking care of pet hair & explaining each well! Also, love the house 🤣
I have a husky mix, who sheds a lot year round, but sheds ginormously when she is blowing out her coat. My advice is avoid having living room furniture that is upholstered in cloth if you have a dog that sheds a lot. Go for leather or pleather (plastic leather) instead. I used to have a golden retriever and goldens really aren't huge shedders. Their fur seems to be magnetized to itself, so it clumps together and you can go around the house picking up clumps of fur.
And that's the very reason I had a Mini Schnauzer. I picked him with shedding in mind. The down side to that is grooming every several weeks, but he was worth it. I will just have to get my Golden Fix by watching Teddy. I also love Brodie... but would HATE to have to keep him comb... OMG!!! 😱🤓🥳
Remember when buying shampoo for your dogs that they do not have the same pH we do. Most of our shampoos are too harsh for them, so we use "Mane and Tail" and it is perfect. Cleans thoroughly and leaves a beautiful sheen to the coat. Never had an adverse reaction yet.
Thankfully I have those items. It was worth watching the demo anyway, for the look on Teddy's face at the shower door, lol. ❤️🐾
I keep expecting Teddy to play a prank and give us his cheeky grin 😂 I love him. Why don’t dogs like showers or baths? My dog loves water but when it comes to showers, he is very resistant even though once in, he enjoys it.

If I didn't already know that the RUclips algorithm machine is constantly listening to my entire life, I would know now. This video LITERALLY popped up just minutes after my husband and I, frustrated with all of the dog hair coming from our flat-coated retriever, just took her outside and thoroughly brushed and clipped her! We have 6 other totally different breed dogs that NEVER shed as much as our newest baby, Roxie. We needed this video like none other. Thank you, and most importantly, Thank you, Teddy!!! ❤
You are correct. My black flatcoat, he sheds alot also. My brown flatcoat wasn't so bad.
I have never let my dog in my house so shedding dog hair doesn't affect me and as I'm allergic to it so he loves his backyard garden too much to move to another place. He runs around z whole day. Ze best part? He knows how to open the gate of his concrete dog house! It's simply amazing

I've got a good idea. I like just wearing socks around the house and laminated floors really collects dog hair so bad. So I use a lint roller to get all the hair off my socks before I throw them in the washer . Sure is a life saver. Yes I was socks separate

Jonathan, you take excellent care of Teddy and I’m sure of Archie as well. They always look very nice and well groomed. Teddy has gorgeous hair. Archie is a pip. I just love him. He has the funkie hairstyle. Lol. Both of them are awesome. Luckily I don’t have to worry about hair. My two dogs are Morkies they do not shed. Amen. but I have been there. I had two shelties, one mutt, a cocker spaniel when I was a kid so I’ve been there with the pet hair, especially with the shelties. Having dogs is priceless. You could deal with the hair as long as you keep up with it.❤

I had a chow, husky, shepard mix, and there was no managing shedding hair. His under hair was so thick it was like down. You couldnt brush enough, and that vaccuum would be no match for that amount of hair
With your dog,it should be brushed daily for probably at least 10 minutes. Those double coats need regular brushings.
I admire that you are so dedicated to caring for your dog. I believe that when we have a pet, they are our responsibility. Not everyone can do as much as you do but everyone should do the best they can. Dogs are family.

Another important tip is food. My dog had to change diet to home cook because of cancer stage 4. Her hair turn so shiny, silky and the loss stop.
Home cooking can be so beneficial, especially when health issues occur. I’m sure that wasn’t an easy transition, but good for you doing what’s best for your dog! I bet if your dog is looking better on the outside, they’re definitely feeling better on the inside. It’s so difficult when they’re so sick and there’s only so much you can do, but you’re clearly doing all you can 👏🏻

Pumice stone for the cars is great too!! Now, What do you feed Teddy? Mine eats like he’s never gonna eat again! 🤣🤣🤣 but he’s so big on top and scrawny in the back lol. No worms or anything they said he’s just super duper hyperactive… does Teddy get any special food or snacks? Lol
We currently feed him The Farmers Dog fresh food, and he loves it!

Good tips for grooming dogs! Poor Teddy, he’s been a good boy except when he uses your credit cards! Why oh why the need for a bath? They can go to outer space but they can’t make a drive through for giving dogs a bath? Come on!

I use a webby on my carpets and a tire brush on my furnature. Best carpeting to have is indoor/outdoor or a deck mat. My girls have their own room and sleep on youth beds...dont have to wash dog beds just the sheets once a week.
I tell my husband the fur on the rug makes it more valuable. The stiff silicone palm held fur brushes work well on the rug also. Not the plastic or fiber ones , they could pull the fibers out..
