- We just bought a new kubota KX 057-5 excavator. This machine is the perfect excavator for everyone. Enjoy this KX 057-5 review.
Make this your next excavator. In this video there is also some footage of our new Case Tv620b CTL.
This machine is one step down from the KX080 excavator.
The new kubota excavator controls are very nice and intuitive.
Both machines together make an unstoppable pair. We have a KX 121-3 too that is still gonna stay around but this new machine steps up to the next level.
There are lots of Kubota attachments available.

Got my 57-5 about a month ago...........Love it.
Push the button on the right side on the right stick to engage the thumb. Then you don’t have to go into the settings every time..
Figured that out finally
Thx
Thanks for sharing, my KX057-5 is at the dealership waiting for the Werk-Brau D-Lock coupler to come in and be installed. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.
@carldavisbeeblessedhoneyfa3318 How much did you give for the coupler?
@@adamherron I’m expecting it to be delivered on Thursday, so when I have the final itemized invoice I’ll let you know how it’s all broken down.
Ever consider the 080 before the purchase? Trying to find the ONE perfect size that can a do a little of everything from excavating trenches to clearing stumps etc
Tried to find an 080 on the ground for weeks. But I do like the 57 for footers more than the 80. That is my next one!
Thx for watching
What did you end up getting
if you want to switch the Modes you have to press the top right button on your right joystick
Question on your 057-5: I am shopping for one now. I stopped into a large dealer today and ran a new 057-5, a new U55-5 and a used U55-5. None of then would lift the machine off the ground when booming down with the stick straight up and down....they apparently were hitting the relief valve settings(?). IMO, they should easily lift the machine off the ground. Does yours? I am sure the hydraulic relief setting are adjustable. Do the dealers have to be pressed to do this and will they?
Actually mine does pick it up with ease at any placement
Even full extension out flat.
That’s how you cross ditches, walk up rough terrain
Maybe your dealer has them turned down.
I had a new John Deere tractor once with a loader that could not pick up 200 lbs when I got it. It was a valve issue that the dealer was able to resolve for me.
I can do a video sometime on my 057
“Agility test”
You're going to enjoy the 57-5 alot. It's got a nice new design compared to the 57-4 model.
But with more emissions crap
Did you get a 24 inch bucket and a 48?

The only negative I have is when I had a Bobcat the height of the seat was lower than the joystick. With the 040 or 057 the seat is the same height as the joystick. I was on a steep incline and I slid in my chair while working. My leg hit the joystick rotating the boom and hitting a house. Since I was on a steep hill I could not lift my body off the joystick in time.
I Guess everyone has their preferences.
I love kubota ergonomics. But that’s just me.
Basic little machines with limited space are probably hard to design to suit everyone.
I know with Bobcat brand Skidsteers, I hate their cab from foot room to seat to body bubble space. Others love them.
Thanks for watching and the dialogue
13,500 pounds
No need to go back to modes. Press one of upper round buttons.
Press small button under Your blade joystick for faster track mode
O57-4 was a simpler but less refined machine - arguably a better purchase for a long term buy for a homesteader or small contractor with less emissions nonsense affecting reliability.
Yeah if you have 90,000 USD just sitting around doing nothing. Go for it! These things are far too damn overpriced.
Gotta love great equipment
Beats shoveling by hand all day long
