First and foremost - glad you are recovering well; please take care of yourself and do not push yourself too hard. Your many fans will wait. More than anything, we want you healthy. This is a beautiful painting and, as usual, your explanations are superb!
Greetings from India! Glad to see you recovering well and back in action. I am an 80 YO architect and started painting after the ‘lockdown’ was imposed, taking off time from my ‘drawing board’. I look forward to the ever helpful tips that your videos is full of. Thanks a ton for such wonderful videos. Take care. God bless you.
Very happy to see u back & healthy. Love your tutorials. I m very inspired by the efforts u put in study work before final painting. Definitely I need to learn this.
It is wonderful to see you are recovering well. Thank you for the great video on the frangipani. We call them plumeria in the U.S. This was a very helpful video especially the tips on zooming in and editing as well as the background and tonal values. Your voice still sounds a little hoarse so please try to take it easy and don't overdo things. Sending love from California. 🥰
Great decision to do a Frangipani tutorial. They seem simple and elegant but I have found them tricky to draw so keen to give this a go. And lovely to see you back to full colour feeling so much stronger.
Welcome back! Great to see the contrast comparison between the photo and the work in progress. Grey scale is a really useful tool when you want to see how far you can or should take the contrast.
So glad that you are recovering Louise. Thank you for this lovely tutorial. I tried a frangipani on my own and it didn't turn out well. Your explanation of "dirty yellow" really helps.
Glad to see you are on the road to improved health. I love your outtakes. They make me smile. I’m going to join Patreon. Are your giraffes (behind you) included on Patreon? Thank you!
So good to see you are feeling well enough to start painting again. I ordered the eradicator brush from Rosemary and Co and am so impressed by it. Thankyou for the link also
Wonderful to see you paint after this ordeal,I'm recovering from covid as well, but getting back to painting really helps recover faster, hope to see more of your lovely paintings ❤️
This is by far one of the best tutorials I’ve seen so far! I love how you brought my attention to the detail! I think I will do a lot better on my next painting!
I love how simple you make it look like! You give me the courage to attempt painting white flowers. And the tips about the background contrasts were very helpful. And of course as always, the bloopers are hilarious 😅 Hopefully you get better soon, my best wishes💕
So happy you're feeling better! I appreciate that you recorded and narrated this even after recently getting your voice back - what a trooper! Also... I'm a little jealous that it's summer for you right now lol. Sending well wishes from the frozen tundra that is Minnesota 🥰 PS your tutorials are so easy for a novice like myself to follow - can't thank you enough!
Wonderful to see another tutorial. Glad you are starting to feel better. What a lovely bright painting. Can’t wait to try it. How’s the studio coming? Any new updates? Take care of yourself 😊
Can you do a video on how you painted the leaves in the first study of the Frangipani? Or something similar since you said you didn't enjoy painting them. The lighter colour veining looks very pretty and interesting!
As a beginner watercolorist I've learned a tremendous amount from you. Which brushes are you using for wetting the background, mixing your paint, and doing your actual painting?
Love your work! This one is so beautifully vibrant. That yellow caught my eye on your IG post...thought it might be some type of fluorescent, as I didn't realize lemon yellow was that bright. It's wonderful. Very glad you are feeling better!
Hi Louise! Great to see you back with another lovely video. I hope you are feeling a lot better. I finally got a couple of eradicating brushes! Thank you for the recommendation 😊💕
So good to see you recovering!!!! We all love you!
