  • Before the oil strike Peterhead was a fishing port It was the leading port for white fish and Herring landings and the boats they went out on were small compared to the boats in the Harbour now a hard life that took many a life
    The Pirates graveyard situated at St Fergus well known for its gravestones
    If you traveled round the town in days of old it was quite different Who enjoyed a Wimpy
    Boddam the path leading to the Wash at Boddam for those that dont know it was a natural water pool for swimming
    Longside with its quaint streets and its airfield which played many parts during WW2 war many fighter teams defended the counrty And Peterhead had a few bomb hits.
    a few of the monuments still stand proud the new features around the town are the Lighthouse challenge for clan walk
