What I personally hate about dawncraft is that attacking in epic fight locks you into an animation. Atleast it did when I played this pack. So that's when I gave up. Better combat's fighting feels much better in my opinion.
Can you play RH Craft? It's a basically a 1.16.5 version of RLCraft with the same classical mods that have been updated to 1.16.5, and it's significantly more challenging than any of what you have played before.

Harder than Rlcraft? RLcraft punishes you for farming, sleeping, killing a mob, opening a chest, mining an ore, breaking a leaf, chopping down a tree, drinking water, standing in the wrong place.... its such a lovely game. Also this looks like it has keep inventory....Rlcraft does not sk after grinding for great gear, if you mess up. You lose it all.

That combat mod looks very familiar, I think I've seen a showcase of that mod, maybe I'll find it, no promises. I think this is the "Epic Fight" mod, adds a ton of things in the game, mainly new weapons and animations
You can still use vanilla combat, it just does half dmg and you stay still. Pillar and cheese enemies until you can get armored enough to utilize combat mode.

@@TdLmcwastaken bruh hahaha all good, not sure but most likely i think the first quest is to kill 10 pillagers then you'll be able to unlock the roll also there's a reputation system for villagers in dawncraft so if you steal from their chest make sure to hide it from them
Try not to open village chests in front of villagers because your reputation will be lower and lower. You have to make an emeral sack??? Or something like that and redeem that sack to the realistic chest that is on the guild master's bark

The first misión of the guilt master gives the possibility to roll like in dark souls, only talk to him a few times.

When you open your inventory, at the top left, you have a "quest" book. Click on it, and everything, from what to do to how to play, is written there.
Read the book in the top of the inventory, the one with a blue line in the middle, it explains all about the modpack.

To progress you need to talk to the villagers and do their quests
The combat is like darksouls and the modpack is like darksouls
Also those orbs you can turn them into more health and stamina using those statues in the village
