先生, is the use of つま or かない and しゅじん or おっと a mark of personal preference or of social origin/ geographic origin/education?
And about the phrase 「ざんねんですが、ようじがありますから」, can we drop the から at the end (since we already have a が connecting the two sentences?
    ありがとうございます。

Hi Thank you for your comment! I expect you to learn Japanese scripts (Hiragana & Katakana) before watching this video series. Here are the Hiragana & Katakana lessons:
      Hiragana:
      ruclips.net/p/PL8VmfyY6HCZBMHAuca7BC-M68iDO-iVXF
      Katakana:
      ruclips.net/p/PL8VmfyY6HCZCvaw3BtXekKeJYehgsTmVH
If you prefer learning Japanese without Japanese scripts, here is the great course:
      Conversational Japanese video course: ruclips.net/p/PL8VmfyY6HCZCSqEqLAKkxECu6iwWr6XMg
Initially it might be tough till get used to Hiragana & Katakana, but
