I have scored 82.88 percentile in cat. I have 80+ in 10/12 but only 59 in bcom and 1.5 years of startup experience. Will I be able to convert this college?
@@justinjoseph8283 Hi Justin. What would be the cut off percentile in CMAT for General category male. Also can we convert this college with 70 percentile in CAT with 87/88/69.59 in academics and 2 years of work experience in an insurance company. I also have a FIII diploma.
CAT cutoff usually goes upto 75%ile.... So better give CMAT in January/February and apply through CMAT score. Target should be atleast 90 %ile in CMAT. With regards to EWS Category, I am not sure about the cutoffs. On a safer side, apply for CMAT.
@@cofactor8127 Its like the GDPI of any other college. There will also be a written ability test. They will give an impromptu topic and then you will have to write about it. GD will be based on a current affairs issue or an insurance issue in the news. And yes I had given the GDPI round.

It doesn't give an edge during placements. However, if a company is looking to hire in a legal department, then you may be preferred. Otherwise all candidates are treated equally.

You are most likely to get a call. Although, I would suggest give CMAT as well to be on the safer side.
