Bad knees may be an issue. The climb up wasn’t to steep but going down to the falls and some of the falls itself had some steep step ups. The guides do help with footing and helping you up if needed. And no sickness from the water for us.
Hi! I’ll be honest, the stairs and rocks have extremely steep parts and the terrain is uneven. The stairs are tall at some parts (the rise). As far as the water, we were good. The water’s color comes from all the people kicking up the sand. It’s fresh water and they say it’s clear when no one is in it. Hope that helps!

We are not sure actually. We were in the rainforest at the waterfalls. It does rain a lot there and there are caves and caverns in the area. It started raining as we left that day as well. Some areas of D.R. have less rain the guides told us. You will love Aruba and D.R.! We will be going to Bonaire for the first time this coming May. We rented cars in Aruba both times we went and just toured the island ourselves. They have a Kukoo Kunuku Bus excursion that takes you around the island and it looked fun! We actually followed them for half of the day we rented a car there!
@@BrittneyWanders that’s awesome! I want to to the cave pool in Aruba! Not the natural pool. And a few other sites. Either getting a personal guide or renting a car for sure. I heard you should rent golf carts in Bonaire.

I did this a year ago. Wasn’t scared until I stood at edge of cliff waiting to jump. Exhilarating experience.
