To be honest, this works. Not the pinnacle of internet horror, but good. The fact thats its a fairly unfamiliar format to most adds to it, and the fact that part of the frame matches the color of DeviantArt enables it to look like .EXE is jumping out at you. Good stuff. Used to scare me.
It's sadly been ruined by both the Flash Player shutdown and Deviantart changing its general aesthetic, but I agree. It was MASTERFULLY done for the time it came out!
