Just back from 2 weeks here. First check in tbh we were not overly impressed with the room. Very dated with the dark wood furniture but by the end we loved our stay. Rooms do need a make over but location is amazing. We would go to pool 3 and it was always quiet. No need to fight for sunbeds. Restaurants across the road are brilliant and price is great. Wallgreens 24/7 aswell across the road and cheaper than hotel store. Ubers to Disney from here usually $20 and $10 to Universal. Honestly nothing but great things. Wish we had money to book next year 😢
Glad you had a great stay! Completely agree, hotel rooms are a bit dated but adequate and combined with location / price it’s a good budget friendly choice 👍😃
Great video mate, its nice to have a,tour of the pointe orlando rosen inn, ive onlt stayed at the rosen inn international which is further up near the mac d's. I think as an english tourist to be somewhere thats got good transport links, close to the parks and food and supermarkets on your doorstep for a more affordable price then you cant go wrong with either of thee rosen's i think.
Thank you 👍. Completely agree, Rosen are a great budget friendly offer with many positives. I’ve stayed in both International and Pointe, I preferred pointe personally but both offered excellent value
Haven't been to orlando since the 90s,planning another visit in2026,just wondering if you know if the rosen hotels on idrive were once called quality inn International and quality inn plaza, back in the day this is where ive stayed, thanks
Prices do change throughout the year, but generally you can book for a good price. I’m going later this month to visit Orlando and the Pointe was cheap price when I was looking. Hope you enjoy your trip 👍
Good review- cheers mate. After reading some horror stories online this has put us at ease. Not looking for anything fancy this year, just a clean base in a good location, it appears to tick the box. How did you find travelling to & from the parks? We stayed onsite in Disney last time, but used uber/lyft to get to universal
Hi Pete, could you recommend any good travel cards to look at from the UK that we can use in US for paying for dinner & other things as well as taking cash ? Thank you
Hi, I personally don’t use travel cards. I use the nationwide debit and credit card. Both have 0% transaction / commission fee and give a good £ - $ exchange rate on the payment. The debit card also allows you to withdraw cash in the US without and charges, also a decent £ - $ exchange rate for cash withdrawals. Hope that is helpful. 😄😄

There was no resort fee when I was there, still the same as I'm thinking of returning next year?
Yep still the same, I believe it is policy at the Rosen Inn chain not to have resort fees 😄😄
