There was a bill clinton portrait done by Sarah Miller and when fresh the judges shat all over it for being very dark and tonal. But when they showed it healed on a later season (if not ink master could be redemption) the tattoo had healed and lightened up the way it should.
I didn't want to throw out my opinion on social media cause I felt like it didn't mean shit (still doesn't to be fair) but my honest opinion on the Ink Master finale: I was rooting for Bobby pretty much the entire season & wanted him to win if you didn't but I felt like his tattoos were boring compared to yours & Freddie's. I will say all 3 were solid, which gave him the win. That being said, I see the "mistakes" you guys made and agree that due to circumstances it's a fair win. I love Bobby, he did awesome tattoos all season and deserved a W. Freddie's tattoos were the most artistic choices and the full color lady face was probably the best tattoo in the finale. But I wouldn't wear any of the tattoos he did in the finale, the B/W was way too much and I feel like the entire competition he just did his own style and never nailed the ask of the challenges. Some crazy cool tattoos and an amazing artist but I would've been upset to see someone just do what they want the entire competition and win. When you hit him with the Japanese or things outside of his box he crumbled. Everybody else tried to do things way outside of their own box. Your tattoos, in my opinion, were finale tattoos and you crushed it. Even tho I wanted Bobby to win I think you deserved it for the tattoos being judged. I would wear all 3 happily, I think the story you told was clear and cohesive. Plus the scale of your tattoos were MASSIVE! The snake blew Freddie's out of the water, I wasn't a huge fan of the eve but compared to the other 2 finale tattoos yours was the only one I thought was solid & wearable, & the angel at the end was insane in my opinion. I think the background made sense, distinguished itself from the piece itself & made the tattoo feel complete. But I see why you and the judges had their beefs with it. Besides Freddie's full color face I think the angel & the snake were by far the best tattoos. If it were up to me I probably would name you winner, Freddie 2nd & Bobby 3rd.
listening to this, tonight, i swear. will probably never see the episode because i don't watch or even have a television, haha. i know glendale won though because i saw that somewhere. i remember like ten years ago i always used to confuse glendale with greenbay, haha.
This past season of “ink master” was not ink master at all, all season everyone did the styles they normally do every tattoo and made it to the finals. That’s not an ink master, and I’m a big ink master fan. It was sad to see honestly. All love 🤟😎🤟
