This has become my favorite drink (I just had one a few moments ago). A few recommendations: use fresh pineapple and juice it in a blender ahead of time, then strain it. The freshness of the pineapple juice makes a BIG difference. Keep your glass blender in the refrigerator until you use it - keeping it cool will prevent melting of your finished product. Malibu coconut rum works nicely or you can use vodka if you want a more neutral taste so that you can taste the fresh pineapple, coconut, and Blue Curacao more. If you want a lower calorie drink, reduce the amount of coconut cream.
+Critique808 Blue hawaii and blue hawaiian are different.....a blue hawaii isn't creamy and a blue hawaiian is creamy.....things that have a -an at the end usually means its a creamy drink.
Thanks for the ice line vs liquid line tip.

Its a peña colada with blue curacao thats the twist
This is mixed in a cocktail shaker not a blender.
Yum, but it's suppose to be called Blue Hawaii and now Blue Hawaiian.
