There were a few different reports I looked at. Was going quick when I said that though. Should have spent more time digging into the data on camera. Sorry. Here’s what I found from a few different sources: 1) 3000-5000 active STRs in Gatlinburg. 2) 15,000-20,000 STRs in the area total (not necessarily active). 13-14M visitors to the park seems to be relatively consistent. The 14M number was from 2021 when it hit its peak. 13.3M was 2023. Thanks!
Hey Rob I have an STR in southern Utah near Zion national park and a PGA golf course. It’s zoned for short term rental and does well. I also did your host camp program about a year ago. I’m looking to sell.. any ideas of the best ways to get the word out to a crowd of people who may be interested in buying an STR in Utah?
@@ferret747 I didn't mean to call up owners who want to sell but the ones you like to buy from. Is it a lot of work to build a house in an area not close to you? You trust the local contractors?
@@danpan001 yes it is a lot of work. So far local contractors there are terrible though, down to probably 99% of subs and vendors I’ve encountered. Terrible customer service too and workmanship. Trying to continuously find more capable subs that stick to their word.

I thought there was 15000 STRs in the Smokies and 11M tourists to the park. Where is this info from?

Rob I need $100,000 to start my 4 rentals. 😢
What is your opinion on Lake Tahoe?
I’ve never looked into it much. But I did stay there once and loved it.
@@Robuilt thanks for the reply, have been enjoying your content
I believe Tahoe has a lot of STR restrictions
Very expensive price point
I only bought 500 bottles of baby oil thinking no one would notice . . . they noticed!😢😢😢
Do you still own the place in Gatlinburg? How badly did the storm hit your property?
Yes, I do. Not too much damage. But the water has been shut off by the city at one of my properties. So I had to cancel their reservation today.
I wonder if people know about the Uranium mines near the Grand Canyon 😮😢?
🖐🏼
Love your ideas Rob!🎉❤
Thanks good sir!
Rob! Just wanted to say hello! You’re a beast!
Thank you! Here to provide value 🫡

How about an update video on your flip failure from like a year ago?
About to start a full gut rehab on it this upcoming Monday.
@@Robuilt cool, looking forward to seeing it.

Do you have any leads on land in the Smokies for sale ? Just sold my first new construction and looking to start my second asap.
Do you live in the area? Maybe just drive around and contact the owners of the land you are interested in?
@@danpan001 no I do not. But when down there signs are very rare to see as most properties are owned by out of state people.
