Man please god dont let nothing let anything happen to these kids. I been in the music business along time and I haven't heard anything this good since the 90s. Josh's voice is a gift Jake's guitar work even out of tune he makes it work. Bass is tight as the heart of the band which would be the drummers. I just got to listening for about 3 weeks ago I dont know all their names are yet but guys and especially girls I'm gonna say this once. This band is just starting. Rock is not dead!!!!!!
Josh is the singer and Jake on the lead guitar are twins. Sammy is on Bass and Keyboards and Danny, Sam's friend from school is on drums. All self-taught and Josh can also play the drums. Their Dad can rock out too. They practiced in their garage at home and Josh couldn't hear himself sing over the other guys so he started raising his voice and Wow!!! They were all shocked especially Josh! I pray for them all the time. I love them. Awesome in person too. BTW I'm turning 66.

That guitar solo on Edge of Darkness is EPIC! Bet he's got hand-cramps after that one! Not a missed chord or riff. That 'off-key' sound is acoustical distortion by the mic movement and his parading all over the stage. He can play. They're all pretty talented, given their ages. Natural born, clearly. Good parenting involved, I'm sure, as well.

These guys are amazingly talented and rock with a wicked desire for music at its greatest. Long live Greta Van Fleet!

My girlfriend sent me a tik tok of these guys the other day, I’ve literally had them on repeat ever since! You guys are a breath of fresh air in a time that desperately needs needs music like this! Rock on gentlemen 🤘
Just saw them last night in Atlanta and was easily the most incredible show I've ever seen. These guys are on another level. Josh hit a note so high the entire theatre began to shake I love how they bring out all walks of life in the crowds, all united for love of rock & roll
I've never been a fan of rock but even I like them and their authenticity and fire for what they do. Amazing to see a band like this after decades of blandness
I'm 63 and loving these guys for who they are as musicians! Perfect in their own way. When I hear their music, I hear them! I believe they prepare for what they want to put out there for us to hear. Unique Greta Van Fleet rock! I love it! I enjoy it!!

I've seen them live four times(Minneapolis, Chicago, New York and L.A.) and the most fun is watching the crowd go batshit crazy for songs like this masterpiece! Great band!
Agreed David. The solo has improved 10 fold since seeing them in LA 3 years ago. Older clips show incredible promise now being realized. This performance is simply inspiring. Hope its a long rocking ride.
Who cares if they’re Zep-influenced?? Can you think of a BETTER influence for new music, as we navigate the current dark, talentless, diva-pop, laptop-generated, autotuned waters? Hooray for these guys!!
Dan Mickalow New music in an old style. To suggest that musical styles need to evolve and change with every new band is insane. Dear friends. I am a lifelong fan of Led Zeppelin. I grew up on them and I die with them. I thank God, nature and the universe for living on this planet at a time when Led Zeppelin and especially Robert Plant live here. For me it is the best singer of all time. When I first heard the band Greta Van Fleet, I was captivated and fascinated by the vocal range of the singer of this band. But when I heard the complete production of this band, I realized that we can by no means compare them with Led zeppelin. There are several reasons for this. At the time of the creation and arrival of Led Zeppelin, the global atmosphere was different. There was a different life and different priorities. the greatest fame and copied the global trend and mood of society. And that's why I say. Ice Zeppelin were (for me certainly) the biggest stars of their time, and for my two sons the biggest stars will be Greta van Fleet. Because it's a different time, different moods in society, different taste. That's all I wanted to say. Let Led Zeppelin live.
I am happy to see a group of young, handsome men, bringing rock back! I am almost 63 years old, and I am thrilled with this group that my daughter has introduced me to!
I saw them three days earlier in Minneapolis. Fantastic concert! If you haven't seen them live, *do it!* Great mix of people in the audience -- all ages from teens to people in their 70s. LOTS of people from 20s through 50s. And everyone just fits in perfectly together.
I almost have a feeling it has some slight post-production added to put it on pitch...one of the transitions to the note above sounded really artificial and not like normal Josh. Im sure the boys would never allow autotune but sometimes producers will add post-production editing without consulting the artist

As a 57 female with a collection of around 400 classic rock era vinyl's and cassettes , I find myself in this audience like I was in the 70's and early 80's with some of the all time greats. These guys are amazingly talented and rock with a wicked desire for music at its greatest. Long live Greta Van Fleet!
Joel Brown said, "Whoever Said Rock Was Dead, Not Here In Michigan, The Home Of Rock And Roll!!!!"
EVERYTIME THE SINGER AND THE GUITARIST LEAN IN EACH OTHERS BACKS MY LITTLE HEART SKIPS A BEAT. THE CLASSIC JIMBERT MOVE? GOOD GOD THIS IS UNREAL.
Twins have a bond 💓
You got all caps on your computer.
I always thought the expression "it gives me chills" wasn't literal. These guys prove me wrong.
Giovanni Meoño fuck yeah brother!!!
You've never gotten chills before?! Dang.
Hate all you want. Energy, musicianship, insane vocals and stage presence. These guys put on a show and the crowd loves them for it.
Wow!! this is like a 70´s concert in 4K
Lol! You’re right!!
This has got to be my favorite GVF song it's so epic and just so classic rock and awesome. Josh's scream at the beginning hypes me up so much. Also welcome everyone to installment 1 of Josh singing the wrong lyrics to his own song.
Your last comment.. I'm thinking that no one cares..lmao
Tammy Dugger It wasn’t harmful, they’re clearly a fan?
Greta Van Fleet❤
My girlfriend sent me a tik tok of these guys the other day, I’ve literally had them on repeat ever since! You guys are a breath of fresh air in a time that desperately needs needs music like this! Rock on gentlemen 🤘
Update: we flew to Toronto and seen them live in concert this summer, 10/10 would recommend!!
@@Scotty893Jesus I can't wait!
Just saw them last night in Atlanta and was easily the most incredible show I've ever seen. These guys are on another level.
Josh hit a note so high the entire theatre began to shake
I love how they bring out all walks of life in the crowds, all united for love of rock & roll
I've never been a fan of rock but even I like them and their authenticity and fire for what they do. Amazing to see a band like this after decades of blandness
The bridge at 2:39 gets me every single time - goosebumps!
Some selfish bastard clipped that exact part and made a RUclips short out of it. Now I'm here and I'm hooked.
@@billcar50 same here!
I'm 63 and loving these guys for who they are as musicians! Perfect in their own way. When I hear their music, I hear them! I believe they prepare for what they want to put out there for us to hear. Unique Greta Van Fleet rock! I love it! I enjoy it!!
the vocalist rounds off this great band quite nicely
He is Twins with the guitar player. And Younger brother is the Keyboard BAS s player. Drummer is the youngest one's best friend.

Just a great band with a sound from the past that is missing in music today. It's a pleasure to listen to these guys. Continued success and keep belting out great songs.
The best comment!
LOL
Hahahh
the drum solo.. this concert is wilddd!
I'am Brazilian, I'am 58 years old and I love it. Hard rock is back again. Congratulations and many thanks Greta Van Flett. Great music.
I'm brazilian too, so I will say it in portuguese.

Thank the Universe for giving us something real! I'm obsessed!
Vocalist out of this earth!
I've seen them live four times(Minneapolis, Chicago, New York and L.A.) and the most fun is watching the crowd go batshit crazy for songs like this masterpiece! Great band!
Robert is lovin this band
Danny has evolved into a fantastic drummer...much looser and smoother then in the past... He's gonna continue to get better as well...great video.
time will get him better, just like fine wine
Diego Mahoudeau time doesn’t change something, experience does
Agreed David. The solo has improved 10 fold since seeing them in LA 3 years ago. Older clips show incredible promise now being realized. This performance is simply inspiring. Hope its a long rocking ride.
Jack James that’s totally incorrect, but ok.
I love them soo much. I’m glad they are still growing their audience.
Their November UK tour is all sold out already.
And it’s *still* growing.
Who cares if they’re Zep-influenced?? Can you think of a BETTER influence for new music, as we navigate the current dark, talentless, diva-pop, laptop-generated, autotuned waters? Hooray for these guys!!
Ummm its not "new" music! its already been done and they aint adding anything new and will fade fast.
Dan Mickalow New music in an old style. To suggest that musical styles need to evolve and change with every new band is insane. Not everyone is a music critic who’s gonna care whether a band has an original sound. On top of that, they have only released a single album. I have faith that in the future Greta’s sound will evolve.
@@griffen9795 lol greta will dissapear.
Dan Mickalow you sound jealous lmao, they’re a great band and will make their mark on music history
it sounds like if Axl rose was the front man for zep, and it sounds pretty good!
Man a drum solo! Haven't seen one of those in a while
In about 35 years
Austin Raftery actually Linkin Park is known for doing some
Reviving rock and roll isn't a bad thing. This generation can use this.
I AM AMAZED BY THESE KIDS! REAL ROCK,....MAKING A COMEBACK!
OH, BE STILL MY HEART!
I live about 45 minutes away from your guys' hometown! So glad another rock and roll group has come out of Michigan! Love you guys!!!
Same, I actually heard them on a radio station before they were famous. They hold this thing where two local bands compete against eachother, people vote one band off and the other one goes on until they are voted off
I live about 10 miles from Frankenmuth...blows me away that these guys were right under our noses...lol
No backing tracks playing, no lip synching. Just talent.
Danny on those freaking drums. Pure perfection
I'm 26 and a half, and this song takes me back to 2057 when there was a 60s rock revival, and I felt like I was 67 all over again for the first time.
Ran into this on tiktok I'm 60 and never heard of thos song or group..just love it!!! Instant fan...
Wait a minute! No rapping?
Solo's? Could this actually be Rock n Roll in 2019?!?!?
We're back baby!!!!!!🎸✌️️👊

Where has this band been my whole life
Hardcore GVF fans, I promise I mean absolutely, one trillion plus %, plus that, I mean absolutely nothing bad or negative about any member of this band. They are amazing in every way possible. Each and every person contributes something that assists in their greatness. I LOVE GVF!!! LOOVVVE them! I'm a GVF fan for life. Each and every person contributes something to assist this band in their greatness. I apologize to anyone I may offend by making this comment. I have to say this, because I keep thinking it, and I need to get it off my chest. They are all great, as we all know, but I have to say, Jake and Josh, are GVF.. Without Jake and Josh, GVF would not exist. Sorry people, but it's true, and I just know there are people who agree.
Jake on guitar is freaking amazing

Yep, I've confirmed it, Best band to come along in 20 years. Im 58 so I know a good band when I hear one!!
I am an old rock and roll guy, I have heard most of the classic and hard rock bands from the 50's and up. These guys are phenomenal! Never mind Zep. APlus!!!!!!
Honestly, who cares if it sounds like zeppelin, it’s something new that sounds like classic rock and that’s a good thing for fans of rock
people who really care about originality and own art/product
These guys are absolutely damn fantastic.
I am happy to see a group of young, handsome men, bringing rock back! I am almost 63 years old, and I am thrilled with this group that my daughter has introduced me to!
I saw them three days earlier in Minneapolis. Fantastic concert! If you haven't seen them live, *do it!*
Great mix of people in the audience -- all ages from teens to people in their 70s. LOTS of people from 20s through 50s. And everyone just fits in perfectly together.
From 5:55-5:59 Josh's voice reached angelic heights. WOW!!!!
I almost have a feeling it has some slight post-production added to put it on pitch...one of the transitions to the note above sounded really artificial and not like normal Josh. Im sure the boys would never allow autotune but sometimes producers will add post-production editing without consulting the artist
Yeah, he has incredible range
Angelic? Lol. That's a bit of a stretch...
LOL, nice sarcasm

I love how much they respect eachother and give each band member the spotlight at some point or another. Danny killed that solo man
I gotta keep reminding myself this isn't Led Zeppelin or Robert Plant. Y'all sound just like them it's scary af.

Hadn't heard of the movies but recall wondering how I had hear everything by Zepp n didn't recall them on the radio and having a very fun night as did the person i was with like the day i met them, but we were always like that music was our thing. We had a giant room where we'd jam or with others, I miss those days but cool to have stuff to recall the old and the more recent. Rock on and if anyone complains let them try it. i can but I'm definitely not complaining, I love to sing and jam, best memories i have, not everyone can hold their own and also sound and bring back such fun memories of Zepp, so kudos to GVF n f' the haters, you get the check, they don't.
