I do the multiples in different colors thing too, and have no regrets, lol. I've identified my most used favs and am in the process of getting rid of everything but those, and buying my fav colors in just those styles. I just got the mini satchel in Ivy and will have it forever - I have 3 satchels as well. I also have 6 Bandits - I can't stop. It's also nice to have a color of your favorite bag that will go with every outfit. I think when you love a style that you know you'll always go back to, it makes sense. I think the Dooneys in particular are timeless. Even if I take a break from Dooney, I ALWAYS end up going back to them. Love the smooth bag they sent you! ❤

I LOVE the elephant color! I have 2 in this size, the pale blue and the slate. I’m absolutely crazy about them. I was not sure about the blue but I fell way harder for that one than I thought I would. I did order the regular size in the natural and it came in with a different base that I thought looks horrible so I sent it back twice- I was later told that it was the new style and I have been heart broken. But I’ve sense moved on and just ordered the autism version of the zip zip satchel in red ❤ in honor of my oldest son who is high functioning on the spectrum. His favorite color is red and he was so touched when I showed it to him online. Best Mother’s Day yet! I can’t wait to get it. And do I need it? Nope. Not one bit. ❤😂❤

Hi Julie, This is a gorgeous bag. The colour of the leather simply goes with everything, and it’s truly season-less. I know you are thinking that enough is enough with bags, but you love them! You’ve made a good decision with the “one in, one out”. rule. Even if you lose some money with this, this is what you love. Just be glad it’s not really expensive luxury jewelry, bags, or cars that you’re crazy about. I’m in the same boat as you, but my age and health problems limit my buying to lightweight, small-ish, east-west, soft crossbodies without much hardware. I’ve really indulged myself within these limits, and I currently have 31 bags, but they take up only two shelves (one row per shelf) in my Ikea Pax wardrobe. Is all this girl logic? Probably. 😊
Ok The mini is the perfect size. I think when I pull the trigger I’m going to get that one to try. I’m not sure what color still … maybe red or black… I really love natural florentine so I’m trying to actively avoid it now 😅 my elephant Murphy looks way more gray than this satchel . this does remind me of a taupe or dark stone like you said. I’m already on the train of not needing more bags but also I kinda give up . I think buying and selling is going to last a good minute for me .

I just want to tell you how much I appreciate your videos and to say thank you for sharing your handbag journey with us 😊 I have always loved handbags the beautiful leather of Coach (the bags now considered vintage) and when I started shopping for higher end luxury bags I was surprised at how they were maybe more refined but not really much nicer. It’s possible to find beautiful quality at reasonable prices. I love that you share the realities of balancing priorities of family and finances while still loving handbags and finding high quality options that you love and treasure. I seriously think you have saved me from going down the expensive handbag route and I’m sure others too. I am also loving dooney lately. I have never had them in the past but the leather and quality reminds me of how we all felt about Coach in the 90’s - better than most of what’s out there at a price that’s not guilt inducing. It’s a win win💕

Dooney is my number one brand. I have four Florentine satchels, awaiting my fifth and final! I thought I didn’t have any other brands or styles with multiples, I was wrong. I also have four Coach Cassie’s the original, and two LV Speedy B’s. I prefer Dooney to Coach hands down, but, I am really speaking of the leather bags. I don’t love the other materials of either brand. My number two brand is…. Haha! Chanel! I understand completely and am right there with you on bag addiction, although I REALLY keep myself in check as much as I possibly can.
