Good afternoon ENG. I have a question, I have a FLUKE 87V and when I set it to ohm, I get a reading of 8 ohm without connecting the measurement leads. any advice on what to do? Tks 🎩
Great video, my Fluke 87 when I select AC Volts, bounces between 3.0 mV and sometimes as high as 48 m V. When I switch to DC Volts it bounces between .003 and -.003, then on DC mV it bounces between -00.4mV and 10.0 mV. Just didn't know if any of these are normal. This happens with test leads plugged in but not touching each other. I can move test leads around and the readings change.
This is the first I ever heard of a fusible resistor in the meter. I have only seen the fuse blow This must not be common problem. do you recall why it was damaged 8 years ago?
thank you from Mongolia may i ask question Fluke 87 , i testing resistor and 500k but resistance is showing on display 459k it is too different how regulate please tell me
My one is newest ver. with slightly different schematic. I did check all Resistors in this area and all are good ! Fuse changed . No improvement - measurement unpossible due to error. Still searching for some different information how to fix ?!
I have a problem in the resistance , voltage , resistance and diode mesures : LEAD in the screen and sonor alerts . please help me to solve this problem
i have question .off 9v battery check connect 9v battery .used diode setting check + and - is no reading reverse leads check has .554reading is my meter short.or normal ?please check for me
Hi , I am Ronnie from Philippines. I have a Fluke 334 Clamp Meter with very dimmed or missing character of LCD . This was obsolete since 2007 according to Fluke. They could not support me on this issue. May I know the specification and if you can share the LCD drawing. Thank you and more power!
Hi great video. I have an 87-v and the Vac does not respond when connected to my 220/240V mains. All i see on the screen is the high voltage signal. Also took it to an instrumentation shop for calibration and the readings were all near perfect except for the Vac. It says " The Vac is not responding to calibration. What can i do? Thanks
The only thing I can offer you is this Fluke 80 series service manual. Download it here: www.dropbox.com/s/xst4kzurpuz8heo/83_85_87%20Service%20Manual%20Eng%200500.pdf?dl=0
To fix this problem, get some Q-Tips and WD40, spray the Q-Tips and ram it down the Lead holes give it a good twisting. Use a fresh Tip for each hole and swab twice with more WD 40 each time, this will clear this little problem right up. BTW WD in WD40 stands for Water Displacer formula 40.

1:42 It shows 1000 ohm when everything is ok. Not 0.0 ohm.
Very useful video.
I have one of those with ""Lead" error. Can you help me with that?
I just cleaned up leads hole but the problem is still running
Yes i have the same model..fluke 87..
With the. Same. Issue. I. Will check the 1.k ohm resistor thank you
And change the fuse.too

Good afternoon, could you please confirm which components is the one next to the resistance fuse, thank you and what value is it?

Same issue here
cual seria su ohmios del fusible ya que mi fluke me da lecturas falsa y reviso los fusibles y este en especial me da 0.9 a 1 ohmio dmm-44/100 10 amp
Good day sir my fluke multimeter show me err f8 what can I do?

Best multimeter by far my favorite and go to except mine is the 87 III
why ?
@@nowaeratv why not
what size is the fuse in millimeters?
I have same error I checked the feauseable resistors and fuse everything ok but lead error still there .

How do you fix a Fluke 12 multimeter
I have a problem of "CAL ERR" in my fluke 87 series multimeter. Please say the way to solve it.

thank you sir for the information.
This resictince fusible and 1k ohm??how??!!
I have the same problem but they don't ship international. Can u buy it for me and I will send u the money?
i ve a multimeter but this doesnt give me a correct ac n dc volt reading but my resistence n diode works properly
is it a fluke?
Ordered the fast 1 k fuse I’ve got the same issue with mine.
Should not have your skin/fingers in the circuit when testing resistance.
Sir...
My multimeter range button is not working..
Model-> aneng an8002
Any solution?
Plz hlp me..☹☹
