Honestly I feel so bad for Sardar udham . That movie was too good. Not only Vickey kaushal's acting but from a technical point that movie was a marvel of Indian cinema, the cinematography,the color palette everything was flawless also the way the story was told makes the movie even more outstanding. The Massacre comes at the very end of the movie and the way it was portrayed , the aftereffects of the event... goosebumps. That movie deserved so much better . That movie deserves way more praise than it received. 😢😢😢

FYI: Ashwatthama movie was supposed to be made in Kannada with Dr. Shiva Rajkumar. The movie was also announced with a cool looking theme poster long back. Maybe because of budget constrains the movie has been moved to Bollywood with a bigger production house.
@@gnaneshwarparikshith3727 I guess all depends on money at the end of the day, if movie was made in kannada with SRK (Shiva Rajkumar) definitely in kannada the movie would have been successfull but to recover the budget they need the movie to run pan India which might have been a gamble because of which kannada producers might have backed off. Yes Shahid market is mid but casting as big actor might have again increased the budget which inturn would have resulted in change of production again which would have become never ending story. Director must have seen something in Shahid that embodies ashwatthama irl. Let's see what we have in store.
Jee Le Zara may really never release. I saw few interviews with Zoya and Reema and when they were asked about the film.. it was clear from their faces and tone that things are not very good with that film..
Project on Ashwatthama with Vicky Kaushal getting shelved is one thing but what's far more disheartening is now this similar big event film will now be made under such a production house (i don't even want to name it) that has a track record of delivering mediocre products with disaster verdicts and has no sense of even a decent filmmaking at all. Actually for Aditya Dhar's Ashwathama, after Vicky Kaushal, he approached actors like Allu Arjun and Jr.NTR. But NTR rejected it and many talks happened with Allu Arjun. That project was about to be fixed with Allu Arjun with Jio Studio on board but after the debacle of Adipurush, it says that Allu Arjun took a backseat from the project and got shelved.
It would have created controversies due to writer who's known for badmouthing Hindus in twitter and all n would've applied the same for the film that would have ended up hurting million of sentiments nd faiths. Secondly kjo is not yet suitable enough to pull it off this historical epic drama. Glad that it got shelved beforehand.

I could relate with u being sceptical about newly announced Ashwathama project because of the production house associated with it, but my bets are on Sachin who very well delivered a layered subject like ASN will pull out Ashwathama very well and it's his 'passion project' too
Not going ahead with Takht is a wise decision considering the current political atmosphere of India. The makers realised that all their hardwork will go down the drain as certain elements will become a roadblock for the film and the content.

Just imagine Ayushman khurrana film career. Pre pandemic the guy was 100cr hero all his movies crossed 100 cr blockbuster but after the pendemic his film struggling to make even 50 cr mark. Who is more unlucky... Even his good films struggling in Box office

Another film project that seems to have died down, is the Farah Khan film, produced by Rohit Shetty. Apparently it was supposed to be a remake of Satte pe satta. There hasn't been any talk of this project, or infact Farah Khans next film too.

And also rumours and "reports according to sources" speculating that a film on "Immortals of Meluha" based on Amish Tripathi's "The Shiva Trilogy", with Hrithik as the forerunner for Shiva's role, is on the cards, but this too has become a very old news and looks like it will never materialise.

Honestly I feel so bad for Sardar udham . That movie was too good. Not only Vickey kaushal's acting but from a technical point that movie was a marvel of Indian cinema, the cinematography,the color palette everything was flawless also the way the story was told makes the movie even more outstanding.
The Massacre comes at the very end of the movie and the way it was portrayed , the aftereffects of the event... goosebumps. That movie deserved so much better . That movie deserves way more praise than it received. 😢😢😢

Yes Shahid market is mid but casting as big actor might have again increased the budget which inturn would have resulted in change of production again which would have become never ending story. Director must have seen something in Shahid that embodies ashwatthama irl. Let's see what we have in store.

It's probably for the best to lay low and quiet on the Mythology stuff, market is saturated and so are the people.
Ramayan and Mahabharat are such big stories that they can't be cut into small movies that's why they always work as a series which starplus produces.
Mahabharata needs more actors to be working at the same time and also for a long period of time. And the budget will be almost 1000 crs

I don't think Priyanka would be seen much in Bollywood now. Since the SRK affair, she's almost blacklisted from the big productions. Most of the people knew about. They even address it in an awards show as a joke. But Gauri called Kjo and other producers in the industry to sideline her. Try to remember Priyanka in a big production after 2015. There was only excel productions and no else who hired her.

I could relate with u being sceptical about newly announced Ashwathama project because of the production house associated with it, but my bets are on Sachin who very well delivered a layered subject like ASN will pull out Ashwathama very well and it's his 'passion project' too
Not going ahead with Takht is a wise decision considering the current political atmosphere of India. The makers realised that all their hardwork will go down the drain as certain elements will become a roadblock for the film and the content.

I remember there being rumors online about a movie being made called Xtreme City. It would be directed by Martin Scorsese, starring SRK and Leonardo DiCaprio. Imagine if that movie ended up being made.

Just imagine Ayushman khurrana film career. Pre pandemic the guy was 100cr hero all his movies crossed 100 cr blockbuster but after the pendemic his film struggling to make even 50 cr mark. Who is more unlucky... Even his good films struggling in Box office

Almost a decade back, I was excited about Dharma Productions 'Shuddhi' with Hrithik directed by Karan Malhotra, but then it never happened. And also rumours and "reports according to sources" speculating that a film on "Immortals of Meluha" based on Amish Tripathi's "The Shiva Trilogy", with Hrithik as the forerunner for Shiva's role, is on the cards, but this too has become a very old news and looks like it will never materialise.
You forgot about Shekhar Kapoor's Paani. He's making it from ages, considered Hrithik, Vivek Oberoi, SSR and probably many more for the lead role.
