I'd be more embarrassed to actually be working serving customers at Wendy's than watching this. In my mind this training part would be the easiest way of earning minimum wage. I'd watch them every shift in fact if they paid me!

I used to work in a food/drink outlet - It's a well known scam that if a customer asks for a large drink, you half fill the cup with ice, so effectually they are only getting a medium one.
"Give those assholes ice ANYWAY!!!" That policy will go on until somebody complains to management. Then management completely throws their staff under the bus. The policy is rescinded until the higher-ups appear. Then the cycle begins again.
