The items inside are a mix of older and newer items. I doubt it if more than a quarter of the items inside are from the 1600s. Very few will survive that if they were used daily.
Agree. I’m pretty sure most of them were from much recent years. The 1st commercial telephone was produced around 1870s, camera around 1840s, so majority would’ve likely been acquired during the 19th century. I’d suspect the oldest they’d have in there are the jars and some old paintings
