Agreed with the Makar hatty. I don’t live in Denver anymore but that was the one game I went to this year and it was a real treat. Felt amazing to derail the white hot Red Wings 7-2 in our building

    Wow...
I have to eat my hat...
Mr. Micieli said that Colton was not bad on the eyes.😁😁
I said I would call him" yellow " if he didn't read that part 😂😂😂
I have to agree though, with everything because his line changed so much how could he find a good groove.
And yes regarding Ross "The Candyman" Colton I will always grade on a curve😉😉

Glad that I didn't have Shaggy as a teacher in school. He's a tough grader!

The back to back mackinnon OT winners, 2 mack tricks, seeing the boys live irl... ross colton was C at best imo. However, oconnor, Colton and wood before oconnor went for surgery was a really impressive line.

I also gave Colton a C and now I think I was maybe too harsh on him. 40 points? Color me surprised - I'd have guessed 28 or so. He's also a -8 on the year, though we take that with a grain of salt. He disappeared in the playoffs for the most part, which is where he had the reputation as a guy who steps it up. I just expected more from him, I guess. Perhaps that isn't fair. It was a shame the Roaring 20s line couldn't have been a more consistent thing, because they were awesome together.
I saw a stat that the WBNA season opener was more watched than the NHL playoff games the same day, but I think that was the Caitlin Clark effect and isn't indicative of a larger trend. I bet the NHL is absolutely desperate for the marquee matchup of Rangers/Oilers. We'll see...
I would certainly watch the PWHL if they dared to show a game.

The time commitment in hockey is huge, maybe too long of season ,People don’t have that kind of attention spans and time to commit to a new sport these days

I gave Colton a B. Thought he played well and has plenty of potential. Could he have played better, sure. But that can be said about anyone in the league.
And to me soccor is only interesting when played. But painfully boring to watch. And then like basketball you'll see people fold so hard trying to get calls. Like tap them on the shoulder and they'll collapse. But somehow its the most popular sport in the world as the world cup pulled in 1.1B viewers.

I'm totally with you about soccer. I've never understood it's world dominance. But from a fan of a sport where all 60 minutes of play is non stop action, I get why I don't like a sport who plays 90 minutes and a couple seconds of that is action worthy.

If you never saw the Simpsons episode about soccer. I think it explains it all...
