I'm happy for appa that this year's team liquid primary language is english. Whole team, inclusive coaches speak english now this year, umti is a great example, import from korea , performs well and does a great effort in speaking english. Having tl members speak korean during last year was the issue, imagine how appa would have felt ...
Heres the Thing tho: When it comes to Fnatic, they havent been a good team in a while, their laurels rests on 3 good players, and the rest is mostly up to chance, if you shut down Top and Jungle, their entire team starts to fall to pieces, also the Meta is very dependant if Ocarin and Razork plays good. T1 has Good players, but the problem with T1 is that they are a Coinflip. Faker is good on Control Mages, and everyone knows it, so when the Meta isnt control mages, he struggles to carry. T1 is heavily reliant on being Ahead when it comes to Meta reads, when they are behind they tend to be a bad team. I've noticed that lately in the current league meta (14:13) T1 is struggling because Jungle mage is not their forte, Carry mid is not their forte, they are struggling because the Meta literally flipped on a coin.
TL the new G2 of NA 😊 and probably best western team right now. I mean G2 didn’t look competitive against TES at all and then T1 shi on TES. Hoping for TL vs G2 at worlds!

Eyes that are both contributing to the event's success, and contributing to saudi arabia's success in sportswashing its well-earned terrible reputation. I have been a TL fan for many many year. I intitially did not want to watch this video due to boycotting this event. Seeing the first few seconds in the preview window I clicked because it gave me the imoression this was gonna be a video that also adress the issues surrounding this event more. The video did not deliver on that promise. I left more disapointed than I came!!

The decision to wear pride jerseys after Pride Month had already ended, on the Fourth of July no less, was really bad optics. It was America's Independence Day and you were up against a British org. You guys were representing North America, and your star rookie carries are American-born. Why is it that on such a symbolic day that the one Middle Eastern TL fan in the audience (who isn't even American) was wearing a more patriotic jersey than the North American players, who were representing "pride" in a country that's outright antagonistic toward pride? It's just absolutely embarrassing. It's embarrassing for your region. It's embarrassing for your players. And it was a slap in the face to the lone Middle Eastern TL fan who was more patriotic on America's Independence Day than any of the North American players - instead of wearing jerseys to represent the homeland of your carries like the lone Middle Eastern fan, you wore jerseys to make a statement on the religion and law of that lone fan's nation and people.
Because having opinions isn't illegal. We can voice them, and they are foreigners in the country, they got permission to wear those jerseys, they literally mention it in the video.
