I am a 70 year old Witch , I’ve been practicing for a long time. You are such a lovely young lady, I just discovered your channel, I don’t know what took me so long, but I just wanted to let you know that your knowledge and your presentation are exceptional. Blessed be
It’s so cool to hear from practitioners your age! 💕 In an age of TikTok witch trends, it’s nice to see that there is a steadfast population of people who have always been there.
Just a lil' tip about the candle holder with wax stuck inside: put it in the freezer for a bit. The wax contracts when it gets cold, I guess - it pulls away & is easily removed with no mess to deal with. Love the fact that you're like "Wanna see the stuff I got? ...but, you totally don't need all this because everyone is different so do your thing!"
Hi Hearth Witch! I am a 62 year old lady form America. I recently took a DNA test and learned that my Grandfathers family is from Cornwall England. So I am definitely going to try to find Witchcraft in Cornwall. I was raised a christian, but am very interested in Witchcraft. I am glad to have found you!
I was lucky enough to go Glastonbury on my first trip to the UK. Visited the Abbey ruins, the chalice well, went to the tor, and shopped the shops. Bought some massive clear quartz & rose quartz shards, & a toe ring for my mom, which is the souvenir she requested from the UK. My dad & I had the best bacon sandwiches EVER in a pub there, & would often talk about it. While we were looking for a place to eat, both of us started to feel the weird feeling many claim feeling while in Glastonbury. We had been in such a hurry to find a place to eat, that I totally forgot that even happened, so it wasn’t something that was psycho somatic. Was an amazing day. My dad, who was one of the biggest skeptics ever, & didn’t necessarily believe in my magical pursuits, but supported it totally, drank from the water at the chalice well, and swore that it took the pain away in his knee.
Dearest Hearth, please never ever apologize for long videos. We're here for it! Literally. Also thank U so much for educating us so very well & taking it so serious. I love all of that and more, like your voice is soo beautiful, not just the accent and sound it's like I can hear in your sound that you really wish to educate us and gawd it's just awesome. TYSM ❤️🔥💦🍃🌱
Unrelated but your lipstick shade is stunning on you! One day hopefully I can go to Glastonbury. We went to Wells but unfortunately had somewhere to be so couldn't make it to Glastonbury in our travels.
I have my grandmother's 1960s copy of Sybil Leek's Diary of a Witch. There's a grape leaf pressed inside of it. I love having it in my collection and it's definitely in the 'delicates' category 😆.
I'm a newly learning witch and I went to a local shop to purchase a lovely rainbow obsidian for a fellow witchy friend today and to check it out. I can't wait to fill out some of my collection once I've delved deeper into practicing! Love your content
Rachel patterson has some great books. I loved the witchcraft into the wilds. All of her books (also loved curative magic) have been a good learning tool. Lovely haul.
I love the idea with the pins for these larger candles!! I never thought of it and have been wondering how to deal with not having smaller candles for the purpose of certain spells, thank you for this!
Great haul! I love Glastonbury but haven’t been for years. I was bought The Elen of the Ways Goddess statue by Glastonbury artist Phillipa Bowers. It’s one of my most priced possessions. ❤️
Old World Witchcraft by Grimassi is my absolute favorite witches book ever. I love it! I think you’ll love it as well. It breaks out of the box that books on witchcraft tend to be in. There some great rituals, ceremonies and spells as well as its deep dive into non-Wiccan magic. Hope you enjoy!
I love lemongrass essential oils for use in my diffuser. It purifies my environment. I open all my windows, and the stagnant energy is displaced. The scent is delicate.
*fangirl squeal!!* You held up the bumblebee jasper and my heart tripped over itself. OMG I love this stone! It brings out the kid in me, the one who made potions in the birdbath out of sticks n leaves. For me, I really do feel like I flit from flower to flower with it. Not in an unfocused way but with wonder in the world again. I'd love to hear how yours speaks to you! 🥰 It's cool to see some of your finds and either have them too or at least heard of them. I look forward to all your content, whether it fits in my practice or not. ❤
We're reading so many of the same books right now! I'm just finishing Plants of the Devil and I love love loved it!!!!! omg! I also just went to Glastonbury a week or so ago and I was jumping up and down squealing when I found Veneficium as I've been hunting for it for soooo long and I previously got 13 pathways online as I couldn't find Veneficium and now so excited to read it next! Would definitely love to hear your thoughts on these - esp on Natural Magick and the rare Cornish Witchcraft book. I know that printing of Natural Magick is so beautiful and I do want that but I also just want to read the text so I'm tempted to just get a cheaper paperback to make notes on and read now and then later invest in the beautiful tome. When I was in Glastonbury I had a similar eek 🥳excited moment though when I was in Starchild and I found a hardback copy of Weeds in The Heart with the gilded illustrations and I've been hunting for it for ages too. It was just casually hanging out on the benches where they keep the essential oils. Its sooooo amazing. I shared a reel on my IG because its soooo beautiful but the content is also brilliant. I would highly recommend! 💜Xxxx
I do have a witchy garden that I cultivate. Once a year I prune my lavender, sage, thyme, etc. down to maybe 3 inches of the ground to promote new grouth and to encourage the plant to "Bush out". I plant other stuff for bees, butterflies, birds and wild life. All witchy things harvested are dried out and used up.
yesterday in Newark i got a piece of rough unpolished emerald which is good for psychic magic by Matt Auryn that you recommended and i love it as well as sea witch companion and moon spells by Diane Ahlquist..
Love living in Somerset, I'm about a 40 minute journey from Glastonbury. I go there quite regularly, so it's always fun to see what you get when there.
loved this haul! happy belated birthday :) i have the plants of the devils book, so interesting. i actually have "veneficium" and 13 pathways on my wishlist
I felt so seen when you listed off your favorite Ogham trees! Oak is my birth tree too & I really vibe with Apple and Blackthorn. I am obsessed with your Glastonbury hauls! I live in the US but I want to visit so bad
Hi Hearth, Firstly WOW, what an eclectic plethora of goodies you have there. I have to say i am in awe of you and your ability to read all those books and your amazing library of books. If i remember rightly i do believe you may be dyslexic so honestly hats off to you for reading all those books. I'm not a reader at all. Never have been. Its just something that doesn't appeal to me which is a shame. My family and i joke that if a book doesn't have pictures in it then i wont entertain it. I honestly wish i had a love of books as they are so full of fascinating history and more. Anyway thanks for the Glastonbury haul. I'm nosy so i love to see what you got. lol. Have a magical week. x
I finally caved and ordered veneficium at three hands press The book is nowhere to be found in mainland europe (yeah, one secondhand for 101 euro ) I really want it But not at that price The softcover is in stock at three hands for those interested
Fellow Fire Witch here in the US!! I have a couple of DJ Conway and Raven Gramassi books, but not those two books you got, which is fine. I get excited when I see someone especially from another country getting into authors from the States. I'm also work with certain trees myself, in the Celtic Tradition but also add a couple here in the states. Am also planning on getting Into Appalachian Magick/Folk Magick cause we'll be planning on moving there in a couple of weeks. I have two of the Element Series, the first one I bought is The Fire Element, cause well Fire Witch here!!! The Earth Element as we'll. Love your haul and yes I agree we are all different with our practice and we don't need all the things to do our practice. Much ❤️ Blessings..Hearth!!!
I plan to go to Glastonbury next year for my 18th birthday. My parents are still really confused as to why I want to go to the town and not the music festival lolll
Hello. That's commitment! 😯👍 Am I the only one that wants a, "swoosh" and "floof" sound whenever she brings an item up into view? I think it would be super charming 🥰 Also charming if she brings out a prop glasses to read the back of the book 🤓Taking them off when not reading, and then swooshing them back on when reading 😆 As an indie game developer, and an indie game lover, I am curious to know if you would ever do a let's play of the indie game, Little Witch in the Woods. Your witch perspective will surely bring fresh and insightful commentary on the game! And it might be really fun 😁 33:09 I believe that is a term used by the astrology community to describe an Instagram that mainly deals with astrology? 35:10 Wow that is gorgeous! 36:06 oh my gosh I got a shiver. 38:25 They put emojis in places where appropriate. 40:25 I love an acknowledgement! Hello, I hope you are well. I have been watching your channel and I'm absolutely mesmerized by your knowledge. I have only recently begun looking into witchcraft and I am completely overwhelmed by the information out there and what path I should follow although I do seem to be drawn to hearth craft and fire magic. Do you have any advise on where I should start? I'm trying to read as much as I can but it is all very confusing for me. Any help on where I should start or what I should read would be amazing! I grow all my witchy herbs in pots and they do great. I reuse the old soil, too. My oregano and mint survived a midwest winter outside in containers. I currently have garden sage, 3 types of oregano, thyme, dill, garlic chives, basil, chamomile, rue, chocolate and orange mints, lavender, and rosemary. Start with a few herbs you actively use, learn about them and add a couple each year. You only need 1-2 plants of most things. Research where live plants, like rosemary, can magickally ward or boost your home and garden. This is my fave witchy thing to do.
My age 70yr old I have been practicing witchcraft for years a few years ago I had to stop because of months of bad luck I don't know if someone cursed me but about three times a week an accident would happen this lasted for months till I stopped practicing it took a few months for things to get back to normal what do the viewers think I would like to start back but I don't want to go through all the bad luck again
Ok I know this is off topic but you look absolutely stunning. I mean you always look gorgeous. But I adore your long dark Hair and that lip color looks great. And the little braid... sooo cute🖤🖤🖤
I just purchased the sigils, ciphers, and scripts book- we have similar tastes in books 📚- looked like a good one- books are not cheap so l figured it would be a good choice- so excited l haven't had a new read in a while

I really enjoyed Fire Magic, the author is Australian and this gave a different and more interesting take. I think it was one of my faves from that series

As long as you use a table knife
( When the wax still is in the container...& hasn't been put into the freezer)
Me with my kinda expensive cast iron cauldron next to my 99¢ bull pack of tea lights I use for absolutely everything 😂

Hello. This is the first time I'm watching HearthWitch, and a witch video! 👀
0:56 I love a witch that supports small businesses 😍😍😍
Wow, I did not expect them to read the entirety of the back of the book. That's commitment! 😯👍
Am I the only one that wants a, "swoosh" and "floof" sound whenever she brings an item up into view? I think it would be super charming 🥰 Also charming if she brings out a prop glasses to read the back of the book 🤓Taking them off when not reading, and then swooshing them back on when reading 😆
As an indie game developer, and an indie game lover, I am curious to know if you would ever do a let's play of the indie game, Little Witch in the Woods. Your witch perspective will surely bring fresh and insightful commentary on the game! And it might be really fun 😁
33:09 I believe that is a term used by the astrology community to describe an Instagram that mainly deals with astrology?
35:10 Wow that is gorgeous! 36:06 oh my gosh I got a shiver.
38:25 They put emojis in places where appropriate.
40:25 I love an acknowledgement!

Venificium sounds like a book that I would love to read

That is absolutely a glorious, amazing haul. I loved, loved, loved all of the books you presented. Out in Washington State in my hometown of Everett there is this bookstore that I go to called Vision Quest. It's a tiny little place but I just love the atmosphere there and I love supporting them.
What kind of business do you have if I may ask? I recently started to watch your channel and I've never heard you talk about that before. I'm from the Netherlands and there are only two, very small witchy/metaphysical store near me so I would love to visit Glastonbury!
Can some of these herbs be grown at home? Like some that may not be native to where u live and can they be grown in planters pots?
I grow all my witchy herbs in pots and they do great. I reuse the old soil, too. My oregano and mint survived a midwest winter outside in containers. I currently have garden sage, 3 types of oregano, thyme, dill, garlic chives, basil, chamomile, rue, chocolate and orange mints, lavender, and rosemary. Start with a few herbs you actively use, learn about them and add a couple each year. You only need 1-2 plants of most things. Thanks H W...You are a treasure.
I wish I have all of these available in my country... I hope one day I'm able to dedicate more time to learn about the craft
What do you mean by charging the candle 🕯️
Directing your energy and intention into it as a vessel.
@@HearthWitch thank you so much you are such a joy to watch, what is your other channel?
What lipstick are you wearing? 😍
