Mo Rocca found one of those families and spoke with them about the election results -- in a dry run of Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm late to this discussion, but here's how to avoid political conversations with family:
Don't show up
If it's nothing but dysfunction and chaos, you're better off staying away for your own good. Family isn't everything. For me, I hardly see family anymore. I avoid my half-siblings as much as I can. It's an SJW convention when I'm around them.

Its very easy to win with your millennial relatives when they debate politics with you.
Remind them that you lived through the most important events of the last 50 years and they did not.
