antifa!!
I love the short film 'Beverley' that shows, which terror Black people faced in the 70s at the hands of the National Front and racist skinheads. And I love the music by Los Fastidios. But I cannot see, how the short film, the song and the music video should fit together. There seem two absolutely different stories to be told - one with a very cruel and sad and one with a happy ending. What's the point of that?
Hello Peter, thank you very much for your comment, you perfectly focused our intended interpretation and vision of the film in the creation of our video. We always try to be as positive and optimistic as possible even in our daily lives. Already in the song, with our lyrics, we want to see a smiling Beverley, who manages to overcome the difficulties that the society of the time created for many people, both for racial, religious and sexual issues. We deliberately mixed scenes from the film into our video, to end the video with Beverley resolute, determined and not at all worried or afraid of the surrounding situation. Ours is intended to be a message of hope and encouragement for all women, so that they always react in a determined way to any injustice they suffer. "Rude girl, stay yourself, walk on, make me feel alright, in this jungle every day and every night...don't cry... give me a smile" ❤
