We tried this place from your video and OMG they did NOT disappoint! We got the ground beef, steak, heart, and lamb. It was ALL delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and tender! Ty for the recommendation!
Wow, thanks for this awesome video Steve. FYI, there are numbers of Iranian/Persian grocery stores and restaurants in LA, especially in the San Fernando Valley and the west side
I don't think Jeff and you order enough food for two. Looks fantastic. You do a superb job sniffing out the greatest food finds in Southern California. I've always gone to Westwood Blvd for Persian cuisine. I'll definitely have to check out the Tehran Market.
RE got this one right! I’ve been wanting to check this one out. I didn’t come here for the koobideh but it was the only beef left and it’s the best koobideh, teeming with a melody of Persian seasonings. A good kebab is hard to find maybe 1 out of 8 places. I would have never visited this place without this video and confirmation by a Persian work associate.
This market looks great, love this video! LA has the largest population of Persians outside of Iran and there are so many great restaurants, cafes, and markets. Especially around the Westwood area! As a Persian living in San Diego I'm only just starting to explore the places in LA and choices are endless 😍
Wow! Sounds great. If I ever went to Persia I would probably never come back! Though a little socially chaotic now the street food would probably balance things out. I love the flat bread and lamb. Experts!!
Im glad you gave them some coverage Brother. They've been there for a long time low key in the community. Their food is amazing and they have lots of Teas, Produce, Confectionaries and things familiar to The Persian People at Home. I'm happy for them that they finally remodeled the place somewhat recently, it looks so much better! 🙏 #MahsaAminiDidNothingWrong #NeverForgetMahsaAmini #HerNameWasMahsaAmini #FreeIran #Women #Freedom

the Iranian Empire dates back 14,000 years, making Iran a country of many firsts. Before Islam, the Achaemenid, Parthian, and Sassanid Empires were among the world's strongest, rivaling Greece. The people of Greece are well-informed about this, and you can also search online for more information about Iran. Algebra was developed by the Iranian scientist Khwarizmi, and the Iranian scholar Razi discovered alcohol. The most accurate calendar in the world is the Iranian solar calendar. The first charter of human rights belongs to Cyrus the Great, the king of the Achaemenid Empire, who saved the lives of the Jews. The world's first plumbing and sewage systems were in Iran. The first religion, Mithraism, originated in Iran and is linked with Christmas. Chess is from Iran, although some claim it is from India; however, Iran developed it further. Pottery was first made in Iran. Parts of Turkey, all of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, parts of Pakistan, Armenia, Georgia, and Turkmenistan were part of Iran for thousands of years. Nizami and Rumi, the Persian poets, wrote all their poems in Persian, but because they are buried in Turkey and Azerbaijan, some Turks claim them as their own. Persian was the official language of India for 300 years, and now India and Pakistan have many Persian words. The Taj Mahal was built by Iranian architects inspired by Persian architecture. Iran was a great and powerful country, but for the past 45 years, the clerics have been destroying it. It's better to verify everything I've said online to be sure and not doubt it. Even kebabs originated in Iran before spreading to Turkey and the rest of the world.
so I went there today, on a Monday, and they only do this grilling only on Saturdays and Sundays. Just letting you all know BEFORE you make the drive. the video didn't mention that until the very end.
I used to eat there regularly. The big issue is that there's not much seating. And that can make the experience yucky. As I have experienced one instance where tempers flared.
4:50 it is called TAH CHIN not TAJIK!😁 and it is not quality one if they would've used real saffron it would deep yellow color not orange! they are using food coloring and may be a very little saffron, that is what we(IRANIAN) call it garbage TAJIK is a person from country of Tajikistan
Well I’m actually the brother of the owner of the store my dad has been running the market over 30 years and my brother has been working it for 7-6 years after my dad retired it’s been renovated recently
Bro, my wife is half Persian. She blessed me by introducing to her culture especially the food which is huge in the Persian culture. So I say this in all sincerity, Jeff added nothing and his lack of knowledge about the food was insulting. Very disappointed.
