You probably dont give a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all the latest series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend during the lockdown xD
Longview played on accoustic was very interesting! Also, loved that 'can't stop', especially your variations! You can probably tell that I love the Chili peppers lol Thanls for vid!
I didn't know these existed until today when I happened to stumble upon one. I immediately put a deposit on it, and this demo is simply exceptional playing and showcases the strengths of this amazing instrument. I found it so solid, light, with a brighter tone that isn't afraid to rumble when it needs to.
Thank you so much for this video! There is just a few videos about this bass so it is nice to have where the bass is unplugged (and video & sound quality is good). Just one question... can you share with us what adjustments did you have to make? String action, thrust rod... what else? I read about thrust rod being loose on this bass out of the box on talkbass forum. So I would like to hear your opinion. P.s. I just ordered the bass. Now I have to wait for the shipment. ;)
Excellent man. Honestly I just play I have a tech. Which I reccomend. No reason to ruin your investment when you can just take it to someone who knows what their doing lol. But yeah RUclips vids could prob teach you about setting it up
Hey... looks like a really nice little bass. Nice playing and great review overall. Do you know if it is possible to put the kala flatwound strings on this bass? Or would that cause problems?
I have a bass like the one you use in your video. but it already needs new strings. I don't know which ones to buy. you can help? which strings do you recommend?
It is really comfortable but it is mini. Best chance is to try it out at your local guitar center or some guitar shop first, get a feel for if you like it or not.
I mean it’s Taylor so yeah. But this is good for the price compared to the more expensive Taylor model, but you def get what you pay for, Taylor will be way more warm.
@@insanedrummer89 for less than half of Taylor's price, this looks like the deal. Plan to use as couch bass, but all acoustic basses I've seen so far either have buzzing frets or output (unplugged) is too low. Other than the high action, which could be fixed probably with Kala flats, any other downsides to this?
@@insanedrummer89 I forgot about this video, but I had a play on this bass today, and man, it's so easy to play slap style on it, especially with the string spacing

Just to let you know, a Uke bass isn’t actually a Uke at all, it’s marketing. Tuned the same as a bass, it’s essentially just a mini bass. As far as a mini bass goes. This one is insanely fun with a lot of value.
@@seonaidoriada1013 oh it’s a lot of fun! Decent for recording too, not going to give you as round of a tone as an electric but for an acoustic bass sound, it’s great. Way better a lot of the full sized ones I’ve played

Just curious: do you just string it with normal bass strings?
I just bought this bass and you played a bunch of songs I’ve been playing and listening to, like Ramble On and a Sabbath song, I think Hand of Doom?
I still play this bass all the time!!

Can you put nickel strings on it like elixir nanoweb strings for nornal electric bass?
You need to be careful on adjusting the string height on a bass. If you try to go too low on an acoustic, it will rattle like crazy.
True that
what strings does it have?
What's the baseline at 2:35 I recognize the song but can never remember the name man. Great video btw
