Great to know that Russell is a Frankie Goes To Hollywood fan. The man has good taste. Paul Rutherford, from Frankie, was to later play a cameo in their wonderful video for their '95 hit 'When Do I Get To Sing My Way' which reached No 32 in the UK charts. It's funny cos I actually knew Paul before he was in Frankie when he was doing haircuts for my partner's lodger. Lovely guy & he totally deserved all his success.
Completely forgot to check, so looked at it just now, yeh lol, he's in it quite a lot isn't he.Makes a excellent video/song even more interesting. Think I was transfixed by gorgeous lady on drums.
@@mickymodo11 Yes, the lovely Christi Haydon on drums & percussion. She was the third member of Sparks when they released the Gratuitous Sax LP. She certainly brightened up the videos from the album & they really looked great with that line up. I was lucky to meet her at the after party after the London, Shepherd's Bush gig. She had her mum with her who was so proud of Christi that night. Both really lovely women & happy to chat to a lifetime Sparks fan. It was actually my mate Paul Rutherford who got me into the after party so I was quite privileged to attend. I had a small polite word with Ron & Russell too but they were very busy that night 27 yrs ago!!! I had a fab time!

@@mickymodo11 Paul plays the guy coming to the party. Mustachioed with a black fur hat on his head. Hope you've spotted him by now Michael.

Oh the irony: name of show: New Group, USA. Mael brothers: we've been performing since 1974. *Facepalm*
