Theirs is the Glory - Tiger & Panther tanks!

Did you know that in the 1946 movie, Theirs is the Glory, Tiger 131 was featured driving in a scene? Along with two Panther tanks from the French Army that now reside at Saumur!

I think the previous commenter missed the point. The original movie “Theirs is the Glory was made in 1946 on location by survivors of the battle. The tank are not museum pieces. They were secured by obtaining them from the many enemy equipment collection points in Northern Europe before they were scrapped.

It could have been an honor if these tanks were not scrapped since War movie directors does not need to build weird looking mock-ups. Hahaha

They war museums around Britain really banded together for this didn’t they if only bovington tank museum let them use their two king tigers
