  • The all new ‪@ARB4x4Accessories‬ MT64 shocks are now out and their longtime entry level shock, the Nitrocharger, received a recent refresh and is now known as the Nitrocharger Plus. Both of these use a slightly different method for setting preload and dialing in the right height for your vehicle, but it can be a bit confusing as to how they work and where you should set them up for your rig. No worries, tune in and we'll get you all the details you need to hit the trail strong.

    I want the smoothest road ride possible, don’t want to feel a bump or crack in the road/highway. What’s the best shock for that?

      Digressive Coilovers
      200mm+ Travel
      20% Corner Sprung Weight as Wheel Spring Rate
      Flimzy Anti Roll Bar (30% of Spring Rate)
      Example:
      Sprung Corner Weight = 1000lb
      Motion Ratio: 0.75:1
      Spring Rate = 0.2×(1000/0.75^2) = 355lb/in
      Antiroll bar = 355×0.3 = 107lb/in

      spacers aren't needed, correct. the spacers are for extra weight to maintain a desired ride height.

    The TRD Pro skid plate weighs around 30 lbs. Is it considered as « no added equippement » and still get 2" of lift on the 2nd notch for MT64?

    Eibach vs Old men emu sports plus, Which one is the best shock ?

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  Месяц назад

      we find that the OME shocks tend to ride much better when loaded down, whereas Eibach rides pretty nice on a factory vehicle. it'll depend on application and use case though.
