    Enjoyed this one as well! Congrats on the 90#. Looking forward to the arrival of my ewheels this week.

    Can you play a round with the 4 wheel cart? Wonder if the fixed wheel uses more battery power when turning vs. a front swivel cart.

      I cannot perform that anymore as a friend of mine now has the 4 wheel cart. I did realize that it did seem to use more battery when using the 4 wheel cart on a hilly course but I never measured an exact amount of holes

    Thanks for your reviews.
    You mentioned that it was a cold day when you shot the video. It's typical for batteries to lose some of their capacity in colder temperatures, so it's not a stretch that you should get another 2 1/2 holes in warmer weather for that reason alone.
    Question: It seemed from watching this video that the three-wheel cart didn't maintain a straight forward path as well as the four-wheel cart in your previous videos. In other words, it seemed like you had to correct the direction of the three-wheel cart a lot more, but perhaps it was due to the muddy day with wet course conditions. Can you please comment on this? Thanks.

      Steven Toney Great question, I covered this briefly in another video. If you leave the front wheel in swivel mode it turns faster but also wanders more. If you lock the front wheel it holds a line better but doesn't turn quite as well since it has to skid the front wheel. I was using it primarily in swivel mode but on curvy courses or courses with a lot of water I lock the front wheel. What I've found is that when the front wheel is locked it holds the line similar to the 4 wheel cart but steers better than the 4 wheel cart.

      @@93civiccpe I saw the other video after asking the question ;). Thanks for your response and again for your thorough reviews on this product. It's helping me out a lot. I'd previously considered a remote controlled Bat Caddy X4R at $799, but the Bat Caddy doesn't have some of the nicer features of my Caddytek push cart. With this product, I can keep my Caddytek and save $200 (or possibly even more since I've seen a golf discount site that seems to be offering a 15% black Friday savings). Might be time to pull the trigger on one of these! (PS: In a previous video you mentioned a possible stool option. For what it's worth, I purchased a very small three-leg fold-up stool, I think from Dicks, that fits nicely in a side pocket of my bag. Works pretty good as long as you put it on a firm surface, like a cart path. The stool isn't very comfy, but it does give your feet a break if the course is backed up.)

    Great review. Thanks. It looks like the course your were playing is relatively flat. Would you still recommend the Rovic RV1 s? And would you recommend it for a hilly course? I am using ewheels on Clickgear 3.5+, It might work on a flat course but I would not recommend it for a hilly course. On my course there is only 1 hole out of 18 that is basically flat.

    • @93civiccpe

      It depends on how hilly it is. With the swiveling front wheel you can get it to turn quickly for you but it also turns quickly on any hill/side slope. If it's really hilly I set the speed to a comfortable pace and keep a hand on the handle. It can be annoying to keep correcting the direction but it seems the easiest on a cart with a swiveling front wheel.

    Very nice I just ordered mine, quick question what kind of water bottle carrier is that

    • @93civiccpe
      @93civiccpe  5 лет назад

      It is a generic canvas water bottle holder that I found is easy to strap around the back: www.amazon.com/dp/B01KN66QOO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hFYeCbYMS16Q2

      @@Bluedolphin53 I've never noticed any issues. I keep my hands on it if there's a slope where it could roll or go into the water and help it keep on line. I've never had an issue but i don't overly muscle it either

    2 years removed, how is the cart and e-wheels holding up?

    • @93civiccpe
      @93civiccpe  3 года назад +2

      I just used it yesterday and walked 18 holes in muddy conditions and it was great. I'm still on the original battery but may upgrade to the v2 electronics at some point to try the new features.

    Good review. Looking for the same type of thing. I have been looking at one of the follow mode carts that are more expensive. Looks like remote is just fine. Do you use the cruise control mode much?

    • @93civiccpe
      @93civiccpe  6 лет назад

      Jonathan Heim I leave it on almost the entire time. It helps keep the cart moving at the same speed when going uphill or downhill.

    Can you tell us what type of cart works best? 3wheels fixed? 3 wheels swivel? 4 wheels?

    • @93civiccpe
      @93civiccpe  5 лет назад +1

      I tried to cover this in my reviews but I feel the Rovic RV1s (3 wheel swiveling) is the most versatile. On really curvy courses or ones with a lot of water I just lock the front wheel so it doesn't swivel. On flatter courses I use the swiveling front wheel as you can turn much tighter and maneuver it much easier. I hope that helps but if you have any specific questions please let me know and I will happily answer them.

      I'm still using the V1 ewheels unit. I'm trying to decide between getting a circuit board upgrade for mine versus going with a new V2 unit. Until I decide I can tell you the original unit is still going strong!

      The best way would be to carry the umbrella while walking to shied you from the rain or sun, then place it on the cart holder during shots.
