Traditional Austrian marching band plays with a lot of "joy to music"

The Bergmusikkapelle Eisenerz music society can look back on more than 200 years of history and tradition. With about 70 rehearsals and 65 outings per year, the Bergmusikkapelle is an active and important cultural institution and can be found at various events in and around Eisenerz.

In Styria there are about 400 music bands, which cultivate music, culture and tradition in the individual communities. In addition to their traditional costumes, music-making and the cultivation of customs, the music associations present a piece of history of each individual region. The original tasks of a music association, the framing of church festivals, events and celebrations in the community, still represent a large part of the work.
