- Now I got to see history in the making! When I walked in it was the Roanoke Plaza Hotel, and when I left it was the Sheraton! Today at 1200 EDT it became the Sheraton. The staff here was awesome and encouraged me to take photos! If you are ever in the Roanoke Valley and want to film an elevator this hotel will not give you any trouble whatsoever. Bells are awesome!
you know the Marriott at Glenpointe has Westinghouse Traction Elevators, 3 or 4 of them to be exact. It goes *L, 2-16, and I think there is a 13th floor!
Cool floor indicator 👍
Thanks 👍
Thats actually a nice elevator!.
Well done!
I went to a 13 story hotel in downtown fort Lauderdale and the staff there ENCOURAGES photography!! Figure that out LMFAO
Nice video of the day.❤🎉.
Thank you! 😃
And now it's closed.
That was ThyssenKrupp
The elevator door reopened when Dieselducy was about to end the video.
Yep
Older traditional looks like dover but numbers on the button cap are blank
literally the exact same thing
Change the title if possible. These are now confirmed to be Dover as of your latest video.
So some point after you recorded this video they keyed off the basement?
Ugggghhh!!! The bell.
Why did they go from traction to high draulic?
I like the mountains in the background.
Which Mountains are those?
I'm guessing Blue Ridge Mountains.
comment back, please.
@Bus7777 Hate it! I wish Dover had the Otis chime!! Not the buzz!
Dover classic
Wow
Built in 1984
It used to be Dover Traditional
it literally still is
This looks like an old dover that's been Kruppy modded
Its then a ThyssenDover Traditional
No, it's not.
