Hello Sir, Firstly thank you for excellent video. I just confused in one point , as I know nominal data means categorical data, but in second example first column is numerical. Did you just suppose that values as a categorical attribute ? or there is a mistake ? Thanks in advance sir.
Excellent. But what if the first column was like this: jack, Sara, bob, jack, Sara, bob? should we consider the repeated names as new names then compute the dissimilarity for each of them?
Once you get find proximity measure for any pair then do not need to find it again. Kindly let me know , if you any more question on it. Thanks Rawan !!
Hello, thank you for this video :D however i think that you didn't make the difference between ordinal attributes and nominal attributes ! which actually differs in their meaning. Nominal attributes such as colors does not carry any order information however ordinal attributes such as Grading carry order information. Please correct me if i'm getting this wrong :D
There are the differences between Nominal and Ordinal attributes. I would suggest you, please watch my video on Ordinal Attribute ruclips.net/video/AJB4ZD27gl8/видео.html. Even if you do any question then kindly let me know. Really appreciated your message and thank you so much Marwane !!

Beautifully explained! love and respect from Pakistan!
Thank you Hammad Hassan !!
Explained very well. Saved my time😁
In grading, would grades not be ordinal, not nominal? Ordinal = there is a meaningful order in the categories.
Thank you so much, i really understand now. you're a very great teacher
