    What if the email address already exists?

      Thanks for the question. By default BD sites have the "allow duplicate email address" setting off, so that users cannot create multiple accounts with the same email address. However, in some cases, website owners do want to allow for this. In the BD admin area you can go to SETTINGS > ADVANCED SETTINGS > enable the setting for "Allow Multiple User Accounts with Same Email Addresses". If enabled, members can have multiple accounts with the same email address (but they need different passwords).

      Hi@@BrilliantDirectories, sorry for the confusion, I meant will Jotform return an error or will Zapier return an error if the form is submitted and the user already exists?

      ​@@mikevannelli In this scenario, if the Advanced Setting "Allow Multiple User Accounts with Same Email Addresses" is disabled, a member will not be created in the BD website. Within "Zap History" in your Zapier account you would see a 'Stopped - Errored' zap run because Zapier was unable to create the member account.
