The greatest Rabbi of all times said "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!" Yeshua said that on Matthew 6:22.

I work in emergency services and emergency medical services.
The one thing that you learn when dealing with patients, especially the elderly patients. If they tell you they are going to die, believe them.
As a story that happened to me. I want time brought a lady who was on hospice care from the hospital to her residence. While on the way to her home. She told me the exact day that God's angels were going to take her home. She died on the exact day that she said she was.

Why then if I speak positive about something or someone, it turns into negativity? But if I stay negative, it saves me and others from a lots of problems.

If that is the tendency then the world needs to perceive this all as a burdening force on them until they start questioning themselves.

"Envy" is the correct word for a person who wants what someone else has without wanting bad things for that person; Envy is just wishing you had something that you do not have that another person has. "Jealously" is the word for a person who doesn't want a person to have what they have and wishes bad things for another person as a result.

  • @paulgibbons2320

So the evil eye is essentially Envy. Or the green eyed monster as they used to say. Thus why it constitutes a deadly sin.
What is going on spiritually exactly ?

It is not as simple as that.

    • @OpportunisticHunter
      @OpportunisticHunter 6 лет назад

I could see through the eyes of another person. It was weird and unexplainable, but I believe we shared subconscious minds there. I was trying to read the person's mind in a way, unconsciously I did that, I've saw too many things through in a blink of an eye and just "got it"... This is what sort of happens when someone tries to project so much with emotions... it happens. They break their own lives so much to the point of no return and the only thing left for them is the evil way of dealing with things and living life as a waste universal energy until their own death. Many many people, atheists and agnostics, not just religious, but the average common people have that unconsciously on their lives in different levels. As if they had shed the light of hashem into only satan and just a few of the other aspects of g-d. Aside from the people who do it consciously.

I left to turkey for vacay when I was so ultra weak.....mom thought I needed rest. Of course Turkey is NOT the place you go to to RELAX.....the guys are annoying and they stress you everywhere, although they are NICE people. So everywhere they had evil eye beads....and I thought there is something to that, at the same time I thought they stressed too much on that, that it was unhealthy. Reason I became more sensitive was cos I had suffered jealousy. LONG STORY SHORT; If I had stayed in Europe, I´d have used my logic to get out of the "evil" jealousy that was in the way of my progress.....I needed extreme help, but their jealousy was in the way of letting me have what I justicely deserve. I was beautiful, smart and had a very beautiful and wealthy boyfriend. My problem was health issues cronic fatigue, burned out......and financial help (I wanted to be independent of my boyfriend). INSTEAD turkey (rather the evil eye lesson from turkey) made me more superstitious than logical. LESSON; DON´T BELIEVE IN THE EVIL EYE, JUST FEEL SORRY FOR THE EVIL PERSON, AND FOCUS ON YOUR PROGRESS. BECAUSE IF YOU BELIEVE IN EVIL EYE, IT MEANS IT SCARES YOU. AND IF YOU GET SCARED, THE EVIL EYE WILL EFFECT YOU. It effected my life :( ....It went against the will of my God

If you done nothing wrong , there's nothing to worry about.. You cannot get harm against god's will for you.. Like the rabbi said, all good comes from above BUTT if you done wrong then you maybe have to pay for it and get it over with... so honestly i don't thing anything is bad everything is just a test to pass and move on to the good in life..

No, the heart is the heart and the brain is the brain. They say head over heart, meaning think with logic over thinking with emotions. Alot of people have ended up in prison by thinking with emotions over thinking with a logical brain.

In folklore, the evil eye is a famous curse. The basic feature of the belief system is that various people, often women who are characterized as witches, can bestow a curse on various victims by their malevolent gaze. The effects on victims vary; some have them cursed with bad luck of various sorts. Others believe the evil eye has even more baleful powers, that it can cause disease, wasting away, and even death. Some cultures hold that the evil eye is an involuntary jinx that is cast unintentionally by people unlucky to be cursed with the power to bestow it by their gaze. Others hold that while it is not strictly voluntary, the power is called forth by the sin of envy. In southern Europe and the Middle East, people with blue eyes are feared to possess the power to bestow the curse, intentionally or unintentionally.

You keep referring to 'They'. They have to make this decision. This is consistant with a pantheon of gods rather than one God. Is the Jewish faith Monotheist? Really does not sound like it. The old Testiment references many other pagan diety.

when my mother dies i was so very happy...she was a tue demon through and through...her evil eye was so strong she could harm seriously anyone at will...i nearly died seven times and got away by sheer miracle...she simply hated anything good...her entire life was spent counting what others have and dont have and makes a mental inventory of peoles possessions..she put my sister into a mental sort of coma fr 3 yrs and no ....she would glee openly when someone lost something like money and was very happy at others missfortune...she was the most narcisstic demonic evil that ever existed...pure evil on two feet...i saw her eyes when she would stare at someones new car and it was real scary...her eyes would pop out of the socket and the mans car was seriously damaged an hour later when a bill board he was parking below fell on it destroying it...how how bad she was...i actually had to move away..may her soul now burn in hell.......

This does not make any sense at all I cannot understand that a rabbi does not know that ayen harah does not exist because anything that happens to anyone good or bad is Hashem we are born by his will l and we die by his will. only the countries of very tim,e believe in it. But if you believe in Hashem forget about evil eye

I think you are right to an extent .. I think one should not need to worry about the evil eye if they are ALL GOOD and done nothing bad.. BUT because of the bad deeds , i think evil eye has the right to harm a person.. maybe it's more of paying the dues at that moment instead of paying at a later time..
