@@FLYALLSZN I was down there about a month ago and it was very solid. Fished some small streamers during the rain up in the riffles and was pulling out some nice fish.
Well Mike it was nice knowing you. Shame you touched that knife and now are wanted in connection with a murder :) Great video and congrats on shedding the skunk in the winter. Not always an easy feat. Tight lines and happy holidays!
I mean its not every day you find a knife like that on the river!! I'll be doing hard time soon im sure haha no parole.. Thanks as always brother! Happy holidays to you and yours!!
There are a lot more wild ones than people think I believe, I caught a sub 2 inch one on bloody run, I think since a lot of locals keep rainbows they really aren't too common.
So to your question about rainbow's naturally reproducing in iowa they do but not enough to sustain a population and there's only 3 streams where they have and sny magill isn't one of them that i know of. The streams that have had natural reproduction of rainbows are in winneshiek. They do stock fingerlings in sny magill.
Nice fish for a nice little stream! Good video!
Thank you so much!! It is a lot of fun!!
Those stockers could have fooled me. Great video I'm getting after them tomorrow! tight lines man.
Thank you so much!! Good luck to you!
Question- does Iowa have no end to their season for fishing trout? WI was like mid October. Restarting in Jan 1. Just asking.
@@paulburns1207 Iowa is open all year round!!
You and my buddy Blake need to hit the current before to long and get some solid winter fishing in!
I might actually be down there over the holiday break!! Is it fishing well?

Mike, 2 questions
1. Can you be my new dad?
2. What rod do you use for hoppers/ dries
LOL!! for hoppers it really depends more on the size of the water. I will throw big hoppers on my 3wt and 5wt!!
