Do you know The Hu made soundtrack for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order /video game/. That is so badass. but not everyone knows it. Check out ruclips.net/video/oJZfEh3EciU/видео.html Members 4, Touring members 4
The Hu started with the 4 Mongolian musicians - then to go on tour the needed the drummers and guitarists to round out the sound - so there are 8 of them
To judge by the look on your face at 5:04, you are wondering what that dude did. He is playing a jaw harp. That springy thing that sounds a bit like a didgeridoo, but much higher pitched.
The full travel band is 8 - the front four are the main recording band,. then drums (traditional and modern) and electric guitar and bass in the back line.
I enjoyed watching the reaction of an energetic young man with knowledge of folk-rock music ... Thank you for listening to the sound of Mongolian throat singing and making people understand it....
You need to use captions with the 3 of the hu's songs: wolf totem, yuve yuve yu, and the great chinggus khaan. There are only 4 actual members. Gala, temka, jaya, and enkush. I'm terrible at spelling sorry. The rest of the band are backup players.
HHa I very liked ending. First you tried mimic them saying "khaaaaaaaan", but you didn't expect they hold note long. So you finished earlier. Then you says "all right, all right", and gives up. That was fun to watch :D
While throat singing does of course take breath control, if you can hit and sustain the note without hurting yourself, it doesn't take all that much breath. The lower the note, unless you need serious volume, the slower you have to breathe out.
You are very thoughtful man who reacts so professionally and orderly. Looking forward to seeing your next reaction to the HU which is my most favourite band. Good job!
There are 8 in the band. The 4 main ones, 2 drummers - one tribal and one with a modern kit, bass and electric guitar. There were many scenes in this video which were taken from the 2008 movie about Chinggis Khaan, No Right to Die.
The absolutely most impressive and completely stunning teachers combo ever!!! The Hu are gorgeous 🤘🏻 and this is one of their songs I love most... They're open to collaborating with other artists... Praying to see them doing a Collab with Dimash Qudaibergen one day!! That would be.... Impressive 😀
the landscape looks similar cuz mongolia is pretty much entirely either mountains or flat plains. it is a perfect environment for horses to thrive. hop on a horse, choose ANY destination, and ride non-stop. don't need to feed the horse since the earth has grass everywhere, and also easy to hunt for animals for food if ur in a pinch. its the perfect land for nomads
You mentioned how the scenes look similar to Wolf Totem. A lot of the Mongolian Steppe looks epic like that, so I'm not sure if they are the same locale or just similar.
It's actually clips from old mongolian movue about Chingis Khan made in the 90s I think. I remember watching it back home when I was little. The mv is about all of them going back in time to connect with our ancestors. They eyes look white that's representation of using shamanism to connect and going back in time. But yes Mongolian steppe is similar with lot of mountains and grasslands.
For pure throat singing you may try this video. The lead singer Gala of the hu band did a demo way before the wolf totem created. Around ten years ago I think. ruclips.net/video/Z0xeFOHGjcQ/видео.html Enjoy! 😁
the same thing i started to get to know this great band from Wolf totem. Amazing reaction and song, thank you for the video! Big Like for your chanell man!
Die Filmausschnitte stammen aus dem teuersten Spielfilm, der jeh in der Mongolai gedreht wurde,über das Leben von Genghis Kahn. Also nicht extra für das Video gedreht.

Why is it so hard for so many reactors to turn on the subtitles?! It's important for understanding the song.

Highly recommend viewing some of Batzorig Vaanchig's RUclips videos. He also is from Mongolia and is also a phenomenal throat singer.

Except for the southern regions where it’s Gobi desert and Bactrian camels reign supreme.

Becareful. It's complicated and takes very long to learn. It's escentially making 2 tones. If u do wrong people fk up their vocal cords.
