This woman should not be on TV without somebody who argues for the other side, and making sure that she does not get bullied by AW (equal time).
1)Maybe we have a much easier life in the UK...But what sort of feminist would I be if I sat back down smugly because I am ok, when I know so many women (Iran etc) are not.
2)As long as there men taking advantage of women, the fight is not over.
It is not my experience that women have it better than men at the moment. We know now, that there are not enough children in the UK. Women getting pregnant are performing a very important and essential function. For one, the kids they bear and bring up will be tomorrow's workers and paying our pensions.
Therefore, women should always be paid the same for the same work (pro rata for the hours) even if they took time off to have kids, and then get a special pension if they have had kids.

Absolutely agree with Anne.... The pay gap is there. Yes it is. But it's there because of the average earning of a man and woman working full-time and it is a fact that a woman will always work part-time then a man who works full time. That has an impact on pay. Not because there's discrimination against the woman

Sorry, if AW put her arm around me, I'd be very traumatised...and so would Phil and Holy by the look in their eyes.

I wasn't going to make a comment but Willoughby's interruptions compel me. She is there as something for the men to look at, nothing more - thing is, nowadays the men are seeing through all that b/s. As for her attempting to take on Ann Widdecombe, that is all she will ever do, take her on, she hasn't the intellect to beat her.

Women are the only ones that can legitimately talk about this.
