However, his reason seems to be that he's working on two more projects that could be even bigger! Including creating his own Willy Wonka style chocolate factory (hello Feastables 2?) and giving away a whole island!

People often forget Jimmy is still just human.
People who do call him lazy aren’t paying attention, Jimmy is shifting the content from the easy cheap videos such as buying out a store or hide and seek (yes it costs a lot still) to the more TV show style of videos where the budget is incredibly high and so is the quality

Jimmy is not lazy as we see in other video's he sometimes leak other up coming videos. That's how Jimmy always puts work on every video. And he does like 3 videos everytime. Even the 100 people stay in the circle it was filmed in June 2021. That's how long Jimmy takes to upload a video.
I am actually surprised that there are now RUclips channels that tell us news about other famous RUclipsrs and it's not just one or two I have seen many channels who do this

I miss some of his last to leave and 24 hour challenges
1 video a month is a good rate especially if the vids are 30 mins long and take a lot of effort
you know what would be great? if the next project was reversing desertification. the end result is negligible, as long as there is life there again big time, eg plants, trees, animals, small rivers...
to fit with his current theme, it could be 40'000'000 square meters of desert...even cooler if it was literally a deserted island, but maybe that's too much and too useless. 40 km^2 are already quite a large area, even if deserts are cheap, getting life back is hard and takes time.
