Not going to lie here but soon as I got the nitice fir this I had to see it all the way through even tho I knew I'd choke up and cry I had to brave it seeing Remi all those years on Heartland was a way for us all to kinda feel like she was part of our individual families too as well as the cast of the show Amber I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear about your friend I know what it's like tho two years ago I had to say goodbye to my little fur baby Roxy she was a Boston terrior and her and I would actually sit down together and watch your show if she wasn't being lazy and snoozing that is but again I am sorry for you and your family's loss sending hugs

Thank you for sharing. She was loved by all, I know it's hard on Shaun to lose her. We just lost my husband of 35 years, our puppy loved my husband his almost 2. His a bull mastiff, he and my husband played all the time. Both were large, but now his lost without him. You can see it in his eyes.

So sorry to hear about Remi's passing, Amber. I lost my baby boy Jaque right before Covid hit and he was 13 years old. It was one of the hardest moments of my life. Remi seemed super loved and seemed to live a full life not only as your companion, but also as your work companion as well. That must have been such an amazing bond to be able to be costars on your very own show together. I talked to you once on Facebook a few years ago because we both have black minis that look almost identical and I remember you sharing in that same message thread a picture of Remi (A few of us were all sharing pics of our fur babies back and forth). Remi seemed so loved and I'm sure she knew just how much you both loved her. Take care Amber.

I think losing our fur babies is one of the most difficult things in life. They give love unconditionally, and are our emotional supports. We just lost our dear cat, Maxx, in February and there is not a day that goes by that we don't think of him. I truly believe that we will see our beloved pets in Heaven, one day. I remember the first time we saw her on 'Heartland' and how 'Georgie' had found her and took her in. How they both ended up in the well and 'Ty' helped her. I used to love seeing her on your back seat as you did your rambling rides. Or see her run along as you rode. Your video was beautiful and a fitting tribute to a beloved family member.
