Nothing better than new years fishing, iv done it last 4 years, its the only time the mrs will come. Managed to catch my first uk 30+ this year had a great session, i love the quiet banks through the winter.
@@carpandkush I try to get out all through the winter, sometimes have the whole lake to yourself. Congratulations on your first uk 30, well done. May winter be kind to you and you catch a few winter banger. Tight lines 🎣😁👍
@@ryc9744 tough question answer, not been in a long time now. But when I was going I loved all the lakes. Had a 50 from all of em. I kept my rigs simple and worked the swim. Check catch reports n weather before you go. The amount of bait I used each time was various depending if the carp was feeding. Gravel spots produced the most runs for me. September in the past has been a good month for me, I hope it is for you to. Tight lines 🎣👍
When I catch a big carp in the winter months I like to gut by the bank and then cook it with a little bit of parsley and lemon it tasted perfect and keeps you warm overnight
Im glad yourtube recommended you, great advice, great info and great video/edit and seems like a genuine top tier bloke
