      *When do we learn the logic behind the method?; 'these logics' is simply gramatically incorrect. Also, to answer your question, ICSE never teaches proofs for arithmetiic and algebraic sums; they simply introduce theorems and make us use them, so never. ICSE kind of sucks.

      You can know some of logics by yourself.
      You just need to develop three things _(1) good observation skill, (2) experiment mind, (3) right questioning
