Amazing figure!! I thought the cloth cape would be meh, but it’s pretty good! As always, a great review! ❤

My honest opinions are there are pros and cons to this figure. The cape is definitely the selling point and I like the gradient but like Orange Piccolo, is mostly on the front.
I'm not sure I like that lower abdominal joint which leaves a gap when you bend it. The thigh pieces also have those long pieces on the sides that needs to tuck in before you can do the splits which isn't a good design. And based on what I can see here, the ankles can't bend that well too.
Gohan SSJ1 was already stronger than Goku SSJ and Cell :b he just was reluctant to release that power, after 16 died he became even more powerful, even with half his ki after receiving the blast for Vegeta he was stronger than Super Perfect Cell :o
Honestly would have preferred a powered down gohan head over the ss2, its a head sculpt we have never gotten
We rarely if ever see this Gohan powered down in general since he was training to perfect ssj in this saga
tbf we don't see Gohan power down until cell's dead
Thats actually a very fair point, I meant more then a ss2 head if we had to choose between the power down and ss2 would be cool and a different option since we already have ss2 and am sure and updated one isnt far away. All fair points i understand why they didnt include it.
We need a armor goku and gohan

For me gohan it's easily top 3¡slightly better than beast because of the arms articulation, bug still a little behind 2018 goku black and fusion zamasu
I have alot of love for this since the original 1.0 was one of my 1st SHFs so this new 2.0 is definitely a treat! plus I'm gohan fan so I'll automatically like this.

I get the feeling this figure will get the beast Gohan treatment and we'll see a tweaked gi with slight battle damage and a ssj2 head, imo the face with the scuff marks is a giveaway that thats going to happen as it just doesnt fit this body. If the faces end up being swappable with ssj2 like the OG one was then you could simply swap the ssj2 head onto this body with one of the clean faces.
Yeah just like the original release, I am sure we will get a battle damaged ssj2 which will be awesome!

Only issue is no base head yet again after 14 years of getting the first ssj 2 teen Gohan with ssj head which sucks. They didn’t even bother to include ssj 2 with it this time 🤣

For retail releases you can try Amiami to import from Japan. But at the end of the day waiting a bit longer is all good!
