Hola Alberto. You managed to create a beautiful video in spite of the cold, cloudy weather. When I was a boy, or a teenager, I would have really loved this place. It's quite impressive and doesn't lack many features. It lacks a diving board but a three meter high diving board requires a minimum three meter deep pool, and a deep pool with a diving board is a liability and expensive to insure. The other feature I didn't see was a pool for surfing, but that is specialized and might not get much use, and I see a liability issue with that also. So, I would say it has everything the average family would need for a great weekend. I wonder if anyone has been crazy enough to try going down the slide while standing, like a surfer. I would think the park would have rules against that, but it would add a layer of excitement. Last rites, anyone? As good as this water park is I think I would still prefer seeing the church and convento, an old colonial bridge (if memory serves me correctly), the market to see if ixtle is still a major item of commerce and are the women still spinning it with their malacates, and the new museum you showed in an earlier video. I think I remember a huge selection of hats for sale in the market, as well as some interesting tall pottery jars. After all these years that is where my heart lies. I'm old and I like some of the old traditions of Mexico. I'm glad the younger people have something new, of course. Take care of yourself and good luck with your future explorations.
That's right William, the place only has shallow pools, more designed for children but that's right, the slides are scary, I don't dare to throw myself aside because I'm hypertensive hehe, you can still see ladies weaving ixtle but in the In smaller communities, this custom has been lost because young people no longer want to continue with the tradition.
Tomar autobús a Ixmiquilpan y pedir que te bajen justo en el balneario te pathé , queda a la entrada de Ixmiquilpan. Otra opción es viajar a Pachuca y de la central de Pachuca a Ixmiquilpan.
