  • 5 Ways to Save the Game in Chess.
    I prepared 5 pawn endgame positions for you. In each position you may think you're losing the game and you cannot stop the pawns from queening. But you resign way too much in these positions and I will prove it in this video. Chess is full of surprises and moves we don't expect.

    In the first position (1:51), what happens if after white King moves to g7, black King moves to b6? It seems to me that white pawn can't promote and white King will always be 1 move behind the black pawn? No?

    • @MarcoPierfranceschi
      @MarcoPierfranceschi 4 месяца назад

      It seems to me too. White loose.

    • @ddshocktrooper5604
      @ddshocktrooper5604 4 месяца назад

      After Black Kb6 instead of h4, White makes the exact same move of Kf6. Black cannot Kxb6 here without losing their own pawn too, so black pushes h4. White moves Ke5. Again, Black cannot Kxb6 without losing the h pawn, so h3. White can no longer capture the h pawn now, so Kd6 instead. Black King can no longer do anything relevant, so Black h2. White c7. Black may choose to transpose the position to the video with Kb7 which forces white to Kd7, but let's assume they do h1 instead, and promote queen. White also promotes queen on c8. This position is also a draw, but it's Black spamming checks instead of White.

    • @jaideepshekhar4621
      @jaideepshekhar4621 4 месяца назад

      Wrong. Kf6 still. If black king takes, Kg5, you are in the square and stop their pawn. If pawn push, again Ke5. The black king simply cannot take your pawn or it will be draw.

    Mitro Fanov's Deflection is block a check from the enemy Queen so that deviate the Queen from a square to another square.

    I don’t find end games easy at all, in fact when I get into an endgame that I’m not very clearly winning by being up a piece or having a protected passed pawn I want to resign, I don’t but I want to because I dread playing endgames so much.
