Very interesting . I hope I can visit Tawau when covid is over . How is the Danlop Hotel ? It seems to be slightly cheaper than others --but conveniently located .

I agree that Danlop hotel is conveniently located but so do all the other hotels imo. Just pick the one that suits your budget.
If you travel to Tawau during the weekend, don't forget to check out their Pasar Malam around Fajar area (KFC building/MyInn Hotel). If you're into local tawau food like buras and ayam lengkuas and other local delicacies, thrift shops, or just want to experience what happening weekend like in Tawau, this is the place! The market only operates on Friday and Saturday night. Too bad the footage i had with me was accidentally deleted before I got to make the video.

@@opagodaswirling9383 Hi Tom, i'm just someone who love to travel during the weekend and public holiday here in Sabah. KK- Ranau-Sandakan- Tawau journey by bus is possible though i never did it since.
If you're traveling from kota kinabalu, you can get the bus from 📍Terminal Bas 2 Inanam..about 15KM from the airport..you can use Grab e hailing service to get you there
