I haven't even watched the video yet but i find it so dissapointing that the THUMBNAIL wich is the first thing you look at, shows a horse behind the vertical.
@@feiryfella if you don't like the head carriage, that is your prerogative and there are many others (including me) who agree with you. But the tails are real because fake tails are not allowed.
I consider it a great shame that most comments have to be so bitchy and unkind. I love the long tails and their naturally high carriage. This was a most beautiful class to watch. My favourite was the almost blond grey 😍
Beautiful. I didn't try to judge this time. I don't like the long tails because I saw a horse step on his once in one of your other videos.when he had to back up. I think they are an unnecessary hazard.
@@RobynHoodeofSherwood thanks for the input. I like how the long tails look, but if I was God of the Arabian horse world I would make a rule that the tails couldn't quite touch the ground.
@@XxShellyW13xX the bay with the purple jacket caught my eye as well. The gray with the dark blue jacket is somebody I know so it was hard to be objective on that one. But like I said in the video, I thought all of them looked great.
They butchered those Arabians tails... That is the ugliest thing I have ever seen anyone to do an arabian's tail. I cant tell if those tails are shaved or plaited but it's honestly hideous. I will never understand why people think this looks good.
Most of these riders would not win any equation class. Holding on with their calves bouncing around is not good equitation. They need to loose the stirrups. Pivot at the knee. The older lady riding the reserve champion wins on equitation. She has an exceptional seat. I feel that horse should have been grand champion without doubt. Perhaps the one judge didn't like the large size.
Some beautiful horses but almost all being ridden in hyperflexion. Research has shown this to be very damaging both physically and mentally.
@@lynbates3345 i'm not saying that's wrong but it's hard to believe they are able to determine that it causes mental harm.
I would love to see some Arabians in natural Western saddles and natural movement. I think they're beautiful just naturally.
@@bonniemott9119 I agree!
Stylish show!!

@StinkyWorm yeah, like it or not, that is what the Arabian horse world wants. If you read some other comments you'll see many others agree with you.

@CharlotteErin-o8d thank you for that and for putting yourself out there with a minority view, at least as far as the comments go.

those tails are natural; braiding is required in hunter classes of most breeds. Its not an arab thing

@@MagnificentHorses absolutely, but a good rider can sit the canter, any canter. They need to have a more relaxed looser waist
