Simon is such a kind instructor. He instills confidence in both horses and riders. He makes you work and think but he doesn't berate or belittle and he's sooo good at marking correct behaviors so you clearly understand what you did right. I feel like I learn something every time I watch him teach. And you did so well! I love how much you so clearly love your horse. She's a lovely sort.

Honestly, you're gonna have to keep your big girl pants on and accept that you guys can jump the bigger stuff, b/c Affie sure is talented and is definitely ready for more! You guys looked like absolute pros on the steps. Throughout the whole thing, you never seemed nervous at all! So either you hide it well or you got over and it just rode--but it sure looked like the latter! I just love Simon. He's so great with both horses and people--sometimes he sounds like a yoga master, his voice all relaxed and calm, telling you to breathe. Clearly you and Affie felt more relaxed. Heck, *I* felt more relaxed LOL. You're really very fortunate to be able to work with him! Wish I could!

..not me crying from happiness knowing it all worked out with you and Af. I commented before when you were figuring this out the issue/s as I was with mine. Unfortunately my girl had to be retired. Amongst a few things.. a fragment in her neck was found- with arthritis.. What hurts is the previous owners knew without advising me.. just wanting $$$$$ as she wouldnt be worth 1/10 of what i paid knowing the issue :( If anyone else has dealt with these kind of things.. please let me know Im not on my own :( and what have you done to bring positivity?
