The Ton Ton No Mi actually has so much potential, it's that the one that had decided to use to float up and then just fall on people. Imagine being able concentrate that weight onto your fist a split second before punching or making yourself super light so that if someone punched you, you would just float away (like a balloon or tissue paper) or make yourself super light and fast. There are so many ways to make that power extremely useful.
Exactly thank you I'm always thinking of this fruit on how bad the person in the show used it. There's so much potential with it you can lighten your self and jump around super fast then heavyfi yourself to give super punches. Plus you can basically jump anywhere in the world by making your self super light and jumping off clouds or running on water like Brook. It's got rediculis potential. Sadly the vid just didn't think about that aspect of the fruit
On top of that, if we go by assumption than awakened paramecia affects surroundings rather than yourself, changing the mass of other objects can essentially give you infinite uses: - Fujitora's DF - making things extremely light / very heavy. It depends on triggering distance, though Katakuri and Doflamingo did not have to directly touch surroundings to affect them, - Making your weapon edge (like hammer) extremely heavy, essentially multiplying its momentum thousand - fold before it hits, - Everyday use - so many ideas! Making your shopping items lighter, reducing mass of your car to improve fuel economy and dynamics, perhaps even winning races and prizes... Not to mention how such playing with physics could allow you to do so many unthinkable stuff like creating infinite energy / electricity source for example, - possible One hit KO - just make your opponent much, much heavier and have him sink into the ground or just make him float and never return :) Although I think that awakened versions were not taken into account in the video. Take TWO on the list GLR? :)
I agree. It's a shame that both the Ton Ton no Mi and Kiro Kiro no Mi's users only attacked by floating up and falling on people, since in terms of raw power it's one of the best upgrades a fighter could get. Being able to instantly increase the weight of your attacks at the moment of impact while keeping all inertia and momentum is almost a physics-bending kind of attack. Zoan fruits are said the be the best fruits to upgrade raw fighting potential, but both the Ton and Kiro fruits I think do that substantially better.
Yeah couldn’t you change either only a part of your body a certain weight or if only the whole body, maybe just for a split second to become an ultra mobile fighter that uses momentum to deliver 10ton blows
If velocity stays the same during activation, it would be one of the strongest fruits in existence. Able to accelerate with a mass of nearly nothing, and then on impact have 10,000 tons of force behind it. Hell basic shave would make this fruit a 1 hit KO. But that is just physics, and this is one piece

I think the ton ton no mi just has a dumb user. Throwing a punch and then changing your weight before the impact would be fairly useful especially if you're pretty strong and know Haki. It'd basically be a flat combat boost.
Not really cuz, if you throw a punch your initial force wouldn't be enough to keep your fist moving after you boost its mass. you would just fall fist first on the ground and probably hurt yourself if the fruit doesn't also keep the innertia. edit: grammar
If the issue with the axolotl is that it is a water-based creature, shouldn't kaido also be first? Also, axolotls have 'super-regenerative' abilities, and its never implied whether going into the form will prevent you from living on land (unless its somewhere I missed). The ability to regenerate lost limbs, hearts and other major organs would have serious utility benefits in any world, especially if the awakened fruit allowed the sharing of this ability in some manner.
Spoiler for anyone who is not caught up to the Manga Kaido's fruit is not fish fish fruit, it's a mythical fish fish fruit that would allow him to transform to a dragon once he goes above a waterfall or maybe after awakening it.
@@willsmisk3208 In case they haven't, lemme try to explain why swimming through land is quite a good ability. The character in JoJo with this ability could hide underneath the ground for stealth purposes so unless you have the right technology which would be hard to come by, you will most likely not be able to tell where they are and I think could use it for it storage underground but I don't quite remember that much tbh. They could also essentially melt the ground beneath their opponents meaning they have a constant advantage where unless the opponent thinks fast, they are immediately subject to whatever lethal weapons the character has at their disposal including their bare hands if need be. Now this ability may seem rather meh when introduced into the One Piece world since its possible to become strong enough to destroy the ground without even trying or fast enough to react to supersonic attacks and if it wasn't for Senor Pink being as strong as he was, the fruit would easily make it into the list of this video. However, from what I gathered from the video, he's ranking them on how good the fruit is to average everyday people IRL and without nigh unstoppable gods among men around, this ability would have almost no detriments whatsoever, decent potential, and fantastic utility. I feel like the potential of the Kira Kira no mi was downplayed a lot. Remember Luffy's rubber fruit doesn't just make his body act like rubber. It takes all the properties of rubber to the extreme. For example while normal rubber is a decent insulator Luffy is completely immune to electrical attacks even if they involve hundreds of millions of volts. Likewise Jozu's body likely has durability far beyond regular diamond when transformed. The man was able to block a full power attack from Hawkeye Mihawk. Haki might have been involved but if it was it wasn't visible and either way that still deserves to be recognized. I also feel like we don't know enough to shit talk the genie fruit. We don't know if the genie's strength is related to the master or if any user would be able to create a genie with enough strength to give post timeskip Sanji some trouble. Like imagine being a random civilian and suddenly having a servant that's on the level of at least a vice admiral. Also I feel like you could find some use for a servant that strong outside of battle.

I read a fanfic where the Kilo Kilo no Mi user learned Soru, made themselves a kilo, shot off at that weight, and then increased it to the max with the same speed making them a human comet. The same can probably be done for the Ton Ton no Mi, weight control is a great ability if you are smart enough to use things like momentum, making yourself lighter to escape, or make hits much easier to take or brush off by going either direction with it.
But for real, if that fat chick who’s name I forgot from the start of the series got turned skinny by her devil fruit what’s not to say boas devil fruit would turn the user attractive. Just because boa was attractive before she ate the fruit doesn’t mean it wouldn’t of made her attractive if it didn’t. Or maybe even radiate the effect of attractiveness.

The "Sala Sala no Mi, Model: Axolotl" would be a very strong fruit. Here's way: 1) Axolotls can grow back all of his limbs. 2) Axolotls can stay young for their entire life, still reaching sexual maturity. Basically they reached the eternal youth. 3) Axolotls can breathe in water (If you are weak to water that could be useful, considering you won't die of asphyxiation). They can also breathe in 4 differnt ways, through its gills, skin, "mouth" (Not really, but it's a way similar to the skin one) and trough his lungs. They're basically a Fishman and they can breathe in and out of water, even with the skin. 4) Axolotls are cute, no one would attack you. 5) Basic Zoans Speed and Strenght. 6) Axolotls are the reincarnation of the God Xolotl (For the Aztecs). 7) Axolotls can feel vibrations and movements in the water, using an organ that usually fishes have. Useless if you can't swim, but it's not that bad actually. 8) Axolotls can even repair/grow back internal organs. Yep, not only lims, but also organs. 9) They smile :) 10) They can swim- I know, that's useless.
I feel like you can just look at the other Zoans in the series to show you just what the Hito Hito no Mi will do. Zoans do not generally turn you into an average animal unless the animal you turn into happens to be particularly average. Take the mole woman: her full transformation gave her incredible digging power far beyond a normal mole. In general, Zoans are less to do with the animal itself and more to do with the one specific trait the animal is known for. Someone who becomes a mole has ridiculous digging, someone who becomes a turtle has ridiculous protection, someone who turns into a bull has ridiculous headbutts, and so on. So it only makes sense, and is supported in the series, that someone who ‘becomes’ a human has ridiculous brainpower. I mean, Chopper is very clearly a genius, and none of that comes from his reindeer half. If a person ate the fruit, they would become at least as smart as he is, and although it isn’t too physically powerful, it is a pretty ridiculous power to have.

He made a drug that directly interacted with Devil fruit powers before we even met him, something that took someone like Ceaser years to do and tons of help.

Bagi's bara bara no mi is actually incredibly powerful and versatile, it's basically a permanent ope ope no mi without the stamina cost. If Bagi learnt armament haki, he could create slices of his own body reinforced with haki that act as actual blades.
What? It's not an "ope ope no mi without stamina cost", it can't do pretty much anything that the ope ope can. It allows the user to turn themselves into what the ope ope turns people into, which the great advantages of the ope ope are not about doing that at all.
and also he can use gatling too with it and if he gets really good with it he can slice up into really tiny pieces and make a tornado with all his parts with arnament and stuff this fruits potential is 10/10

Buggy’s fruit is heavily underestimated in potential. Imagine if buggy had an awakening and was able to split his surroundings and do things like split atoms. He could set off a whole nuke whenever he wanted.
Also not mentioning even just the base of being immune to swords and being able to split, this is like a copy of the gum fruit in a way as that makes you invulnerable to all impact damage and if buggy was as fast as luffy he could basically do all of luffys moves other then the gears but you could also say he could make his internal organs dodge attacks and so so so so so so much more

Other abilities, like Slave Arrow, Pistol Kiss and Perfume Femur work even in inanimate objects (e.g. Pacifistas, Smoker's jutte, etc). And while yes, turning stuff to stone is not useful in most cases, given it has a ranged single target ability (Pistol Kiss), a ranged area ability (Slave Arrow), and a melee single target ability (Perfume Femur), and 2 of those can easily one shot an enemy (arrow or kick to the head, and their brains turn to stone), you should bump up the power up by a few points, and maybe decrease 1 point the detriments, as firing a volley of Slave Arrows onto a battlefield can cause friendly fire
i disagree with hancocks fruit. It is shown to take effect with canon balls and pacifistas. with her love arrows and perfume femore attacks. and those things doesn't have any lust Her love love beam is the only one that depends on the targets lust
I also assume Hancock's fruit has some effect on her looks. Kinda like how Alvida's fruit made her attractive by giving her smooth skin. The more attractive you are to start the better I assume, but if you looked like a troll before eating Hancock's fruit you'd probably at least become semi attractive

Axolotl fruit is actually useful, and would really benefit Shanks. Oda has confirmed that devil fruit users can't swim even in freshwater, but it's sea salt that deactivates the actual power (hence why sea prism stone works even though it's a solid). Axolotls can regenerate from nonfatal injuries. So if you submerged in a bath, you would get regeneration powers. Has limited use in battle, but the ability to fully heal so long as you win the fight is pretty amazing. You could fight really recklessly and surprise your opponent by being willing to lose an arm to get a kill, then grow the arm back.
I think Jozu's fruit should've have way higher potential for a reason you mentioned in your devil fruit encyclopedia: if his Awakening acts as the other paramecia awakenings, instant billionaire. You didn't specify potential as battle or piracy specific

Uhhh no. If you make infinite diamonds then the diamonds will be worthless. Also we don't know if diamonds are even expensive in one piece. In the real world diamonds are only expensive because they are hoarded by like a single company. They aren't even rare gemstones.
Axolotls are amphibians, they can very much survive outside of the water if their skin stays hydrated. They also have one of the most impressive regenerative capabilities of the animal kingdom. Putting that fruit as the single worst fruit in One Piece when it's reasonable to assume it would allow you to breathe under water and regenerate whole limbs isn't something I can agree with. Particularly when you consider that Zoans are said to increase physical strength. Look at Kaku's giraffe; an animal whose limbs can easily break, who can barely lower itself enough to drink water, whose diet is purely vegetal, yet it still was a major boost for Kaku's power.
100% agree. An axolotl fruit would be great, especially if it was like the zoans used by chopper/cp9, primarily for the regeneration. I can imagine its awakening being broken too, like near-perfect instantaneous regeneration.
Also first off, the becoming an anchor is only for sea water, not all water in general. Second even if you became an anchor in seawater you wouldn't drown, like how Jack didn't (I am assuming its because he is part fishman.)
@@haukness It's hard to say for certain as the story is pretty wonky and inconsistent on this point, but it seems you don't have full access to your devil fruit power when in contact with sea water. Jack survived because his "natural" half is a fishman. If you eat this fruit, your "natural" half (and therefore, seemingly the only half you have access to) would be the half that, in fact, cannot breath underwater.
I feel both the kilo kilo no mi and the ton ton no mi fruits have amazing potential that their users simply didn't have the capacity to use. Both of their powers would be amazing if used while attacking an enemy, to drastically increase the weight behind their attacks, and essentially making them stronger. Similar to the diamond diamond fruit, but instead of just being really hard, your fist weights as much as a train, and gets insane momentum.
Dude the mero Mero no mi does not function like that. Yes she can turn people into stone instantly if they are in love with them but that is not the case at all with alot of other attacks like Kiss pistol which is just Haki infused with the hearts or the Slave Arrows and Perfume Femur which can turn people and objects into stone even if they are not in love with the target or lusting over them like Boa did turning cannon ammo and Pacifistas into stone and you re not gonna tell me Pacifistas suddenly can feel love or lust cause they cannot.
i think slave arrow only works because everyone is in love with her, because when she used pistol kiss, which i basically just a single shot from slave arrow, it didn't work on luffy. she can turn any object to stone though, so that's enough to get it off the list for sure.

All the detriments to zoan fruits you list are very arbitrary. Saying a racoon-dog, a datsun, or a axolotl aren't powerful makes as much sense as saying that a falcon or a cow isn't powerful. Pell wasnt as fragile as a real bird (which definitely can't survive bombs) Rob lucie doesn't sleep as much as a real leopard (most of the day) and, say a spider lady wouldn't be as small as a real spider. With zoans you literally only get whatever are the best parts of the animal (as decided by Oda)

I actually see how you can use the Ton Ton No Mi incredibly well. You could create a fighting style based around striking enemies and increasing the weight of your blows at just the right time to not weaken them, but empower them with the weight. And considering how weight works, you probably increase your density or mass or whatever, meaning you'd be alot harder to escape due to the increased gravitational pull. But even if that's not how it works, you could still make alot of uses out of it. The biggest one I see being the possibility of increasing the weight of *other* people as well, which could be incredibly useful in support *and* combat. It's just a shame that, alike the bomb fruit, it's never really put to good use.
Yeah unless he's getting to planet level of weight, the gravitational pull is going to be literally nothing, and even if he could make himself weigh as much as a planet, that would only theoretically double gravity, which would slow down exactly 0 charactets with any kind of strength in tnis show. Hell, I'm pretty sure Usopp could escape double gravity pretty easily
If I'm being honest.. I'd rather have the kiro kiro no mi. The kiro kiro no mi can get waaay lighter than the ton ton no mi. (Yes the ton ton no mi can get heavier, however I feel like the kiro kiro no mi offers more utility/agility.
I agree with almost everything on this list exept with the number one: im sure many people already noted that the axolotl has super regenerative abilities, being able to regenerate parts of his brain too, but unlike what you stated, they CAN breath air since they also posses lungs, but its also true that they spend very little of their lifetime on land. Nonetheless, keep up the good work, i always like to watch this kind of videos and i know they must take so much time to do, so nice job man!!

Any dog model zoan essentially makes you a werewolf, now you might look stupid but you still have enhanced senses and strength. The tanuki fruit most likely gives shape shifting abilities since the tailed fox did. Decken was a poor user of a good fruit and his line about it only being destructive is proven false even Decken initially used his power to deliver messages before he got obsessed, if he were a spy or a smuggler incredibly useful also he moved the Noah which means it could definitely be used for transportation. The kilo kilo and the ton ton suffer the same fate of being judged by the user and not the fruit both would tremendously improve combat skills if they were used by martial artists incredibly useful and as far as I could tell only the ton ton had a flaw of the user taking damage with a miss. And if we're going to categorize worse zoan fruits where is the giraffe? The giraffe only worked with Kaku's specific style of martial arts most people would cry if they got the giraffe only gaining an extra ten feet of exposed neck for a swordsman. If you are making the distinction between poor fruit and poor users which is what he claimed not a good list.
@@fictionjunkie yeah there are other devil fruits that also deserve to be on this list, the giraffe one is a good example; its also true that a lot of devil fruits are being put on a bad light because of their user, but just as you said, a martial artist is needed to make good use of a devil fruit like the kilo kilo; now imagine an avarege human like everyone else eating such fruit: i think that most people wouldnt be able to use these devil fruits to their full potential, since they are not fighters, snipers or whatnot, just simple humans with nothing much to offer. The Nagi Nagi no Mi can be extremely potent in tactical situations. Imagine a battlefield like maybe the Paramount war. If someone there could prevent communication between admirals/vice-admirals and the grunts that could revolutionize war. I think you might underestimate how important communication is in warzones or even in general. Imagine being able to stop communication entirely by creating different sound barriers. The tactical advantage would be enormous
But the user would have to purposely let himself be taken prisoner in the enemy camp so that he doesn't disable his own side, and that could be very dangerous for the user, even if you don't wind up getting killed before you cam successfully surrender in the first place.
Sometimes it’s fun to imagine if Luffy had gotten any one of these devil fruits and the creative ways he could have used them to maximize their potential. Really I think you could make just about any devil fruit legendary with the right imagination, no matter how useless they are on the surface. I mean for all intents and purposes Luffy is a Stretch Armstrong man going up against people who can turn into dragons, reanimate armies of the dead, or mummify humans on touch.

The ability of changing your weight isn't terrible. You can make all your physical attacks harder by increasing your weight, you can make enemy physical attacks softer by decreasing your weight, and you can evade enemy attacks easier by decreasing your weight. Most importantly, it works well with haki.
not how it works for defense at least. You would coat yourself in haki and make yourself heavier to make a harder wall for them to hit but making you lighter makes you flying in top tier case kaido would send you to the next island if you had no weight at all.

Making yourself heavier and unable to be sent flying would increase the damage you take because none of the force would be converted into momentum, youd have to tank all of it.
I think this is a key difference between the Ton Ton no mi and Kilo no mi. The Ton Ton fruit only allows you to increase your weight, but the Kilo Kilo no mi allows you to decrease it as well. Weighing very little is highly underrated I think. A giant wouldn't be able to hit you because of the pressure wave of air from their punches. You could basically surf on the air with enough practice.

One can change quickly by the ton while the other is just by kilogram. @@TheBabylane2 no no you are getting it wrong. The force you need to destroy a balloon is worlds below the force you need to destroy let's say an elephant. The difference is not only mass itself but material too. A rubber balloon can be destroyed way easier than a giant rubber ball that ways like 10 times more. The key difference is the impact force you create this would be mostly denied since there is no mass to accelerate. If you awaken the fruit and make kaido's club lighter than a balloon you would take away much of the force the hit created but doing the same to you won't help you much. It's like saying just because the car hit a fly the fly would feel almost nothing since it weighs less. The car is gonna get squashed on the windshield while an elephant per say might destroy the car. So make yourself way way way heavier use haki and you will create a defense that breaks all non haki weapons easily.
Honestly the Ton Ton no mi can have tons of potential, especially when awakened. When not awakened a fighter can use the weight changes to make their punches stronger or quickly dodge attacks. When awakened you can change the weight of pretty much anything. So like a swordsman who makes their sword light when to swing and increase the weight as it’s brought down. Or increasing be weight of clothes to stop most from moving. Throwing a pebble at someone to make it basically a slow bullet. Awakening it would give it such spectacular capabilities to a seemingly useless ability
In general, I think you're underestimating Zoan fruits. Look at Chopper - all his forms (ESPECIALLY his rumble ball-induced monster form) are so much more than simply "reindeer+human". Zoan fruits don't just give you the ability to Turn Into The Thing, it gives you the ability to take those forms and amp them up like mad. I believe it was stated at least a couple of times that Zoan fruits generally give you a physical power boost.

In my opinion, Buggy's Devil Fruit still has a ton of potential. I've always had this this fantasy that if he practiced enough he could eventually split himself into atoms and enter into the body by various means and attack from the inside whether by remerging his particles again or by some other means
I would have to disagree with the noro noro no mi for potential or utility. If you could adjust the slowness of the rays you could possibly reach internal youth by slowing down your aging or injuries and maybe even diseases.
I also disagree with it. Since it is outright time manipulation even so in just slowing it down. We could also observe that all objects get slowed down to the same creeping speed. That means now matter what the force was its all slowed down to the same level. On a physicalic perspective this is insane just like he mentioned in the terms of scientific potential. Yes it needs creative use to utiliate the utmost of the fruite but that should skyrocket its potential score since the possibilitys are so great. I think the fruite is judged on the bias of the character in use. I can easily imagine a protagonist or antagonist with a similar power that would be called overpowered beyond.
Also the awakening of the noro noro no mi would probably look something similar to law’s fruit. To create a room but everything within it is slow down except for you.
yeah but we're talking about canonical usage, there's no real confirmation that you could slowdown only your insides and even if you could that would probably just make you fat by slowing down your metabolism
For the Kira Kira you could untransform small joints like how figurines work where only the joints rotate so you could move more and you could would wear light armor on your joints to protect them.
Foxy's power is pretty strong. Just think of it like this, a super strong fruit user is your opponent, just hit him once with your beam, and then let your crew put sea stone handcuffs on or wrap him in sea stone chains, it'll probably work on a yonko. Even if you say that's too much then think if Whitebeard had someone with this power on his crew, he could've rescued Ace without bloodshed.
Jozo's fruit is insane, you would constantly have the parts of your body you don't need to move like torso head and you could throw a punch while just having a first of diamonds

The chop chop fruit could actually be super cool with armament haki. Turn your body into thin slices and shoot them around like blades with armament. Could be a very potent weapon that way. Like make a thin horizontal slice from one of your fingers and make a tiny hard to see deadly projectile shooting around as you command.
With the Hito Hito No Mi it's less of an issue with the fruit itself and more with how you apply it. It can turn your cute little pet into your top-built bodyguard.
i think the hito hito no mi is one of the greatest devil fruits out there, if you give this fruit to a cat you will get a cat girl waifu, and in my opinion that is op.

I'd disagree with Buggy's fruit. It's definitely one of the more useful fruits and I definitely would be happy to have it. He can float as long as his legs are on the floor. That alone is quite useful. Being resistant to any slice attacks is absolutely great. Having an incredible reach is again also great for combat. There's plenty of uses for this fruit.

Right, like how the power is supposed to be used. The lowered mobility argument is literally null, since it's shown that strong characters like Luffy and Doflamingo are able to use their devil fruits powers, atleast the very very basic forms of them, stretching and making strings, without using up any energy. Luffy can stretch for as long as he wants, it's not going to tire him out. And Jozu was a member of white beards crew, we can assume he can use his power whenever, however he wants. So why would he not just use it to block attacks then deactivate it to move? Well that is what he would do, but I guess dude didn't think of that

I think that could potentially be the case, for example Alvida's fruit made her thin and beautiful, so actually a fruit can give you certain qualities if its potential is based on that

Hey fun fact the chiyu chiyu no mi (heal fruit) also has the ability to use other peoples life span as a way to get a healing orb, so power is actually really fucking strong since if you have an opponent pinned down to the point of no moving you can slowly drain their life span (I don‘t necessarily know if the person giving the life has to physically give it or if it just gets taken)
Could you imagine if buggy awakened his fruit tho? being able to turn the environment into pieces would be pretty useful. If Buggy had more intelligence/confidence then he'd be an amazingly powerful villain instead of just comic relief at this point.

I didn't know that the Ton Ton fruit was a thing. I had assumed that it was the Kilo Kilo fruit because by the Dressrosa arc it is made clear that when a Devil Fruit user dies their Devil Fruit returns as Ace's did. I had simply assumed that maybe Miss Valentine had died but even after watching the Alabastsa arc a second time I'm still not too clear if a lot of the work Baroque Works agents were killed off. (Then again we were debating if Spandam had died after what Nico Robin did to him.)
It was covered by Oda in the manga that several of the numbered agents simply got away and opened a cafe to live out their days, the only ones the Marines actually caught were Mr. 3, 2, and 1, as well as Crocodile. Additionally, Oda also covered an even more broken ability of Eneru's Devil Fruit in that he's living on the moon, apparently his Devil Fruit allows him to live without food, water, or oxygen, literally making him a pseudo-immortal.
Still pretty lame when Devil Fruits are concerned. Especially since most of what I _would've_ used to argue its placement are only possible due to Chopper's "Rumble Balls", and thus not actually part of the fruit at all. Otherwise Brain Point could be quite the ability.
Honestly I think the Kira Kira no Mi (Diamond)’s weakness can be mitigated by implementing it like knight’s armor; you simply don’t have it used at places where you have joints or moving parts. Sure it would take a lot of control and it leaves you weaker at the joints, but you could instantly harden those areas in a pinch! Maybe it’s just me, but I’m just rooting hard for this fruit because diamond + Haki would be such a strong combination.
Pekoms was an idiot in how he used his fruit, turtles are really powerful. Sure they are slow, but in order to lift their shells they have to have tremendous strength. A Galapagos tortoise could theoretically lift a Volkswagen Beetle. And you do not want to be bitten by any turtle, trust me.
I Do believe that the "Hito-Hito No Mi" consumed by a Human, would allow SOME and maybe interesting powers, like the rest of the Zoan group. For example it could turn allow the user to change into different humans, either by just appearance, or even choose what to change in your own body (maybe even race, age, gender). the other Changes that should give are physical boosts, just like Chopper get from it, forms that enhance his: speed, strength, defense, intelligence, etc. I DO think the increase in power should be multiplied from base form, but with time and training I bet those can increase in power and even develop new forms. Lets not forget these fruits power/potential is a mixture of (narration/story telling, and how creative the user can be). Something to keep in mind. We assume that human+human=human, no change at all...but not every human is the same, and what exactly defines a human? This fruit has such a high POTENTIAL power on a human is impossible to determine. Human potential is almost infinite (and thats something shown in most worlds/stories), a fruit that allows a human tap into that potential sounds really interesting. (I would give it a shot! and take the curse risk. It HAS to do something....we haven't seen a single fruit that does NOTHING) I'm not going to say this is the best fruit ever, but I do believe the Zoan fruits get a bad reputation because they are portraited as a gimmick and they are used as a single trick power. (then again I'm vias to the Zoan group)

I'm surprised that Luffy's fruit is not on this list. Luffy struggled as a child just getting the hang of being a rubber man. And at its base it's a pretty weak fruit too, since Luffy had a devil fruit and couldn't even beat Ace with his own devil fruit. The rubber fruit relies on its user for strength and power. And Luffy is the main character so we get to see the rubber fruit being pushed way beyond it's limits. Gear 4 is Luffy infusing a lot of haki while being creative with the fruit. I'm sure a normal user of the rubber fruit wouldn't be as creative or train as much as Luffy has with his fruit.
It was honestly probably saved by the potential category which Luffy has shown to be way higher than first anticipated. Otherwise I have no doubt it’s be here
@@tanaka173 I agree. I think the fruit's abilities peaked once Gears was introduced. Luffy pushed his fruit to the point where he had to come up with something new in order for the fruit to continue being useful to him against more powerful foes. Gear 2nd and Gear 4th has more to do with the user more than the fruit. Luffy is just basically using different techniques and applying to it the fruit's rubber properties in order to get a desired effect.
The fact that the bara bara no mi landed at 16th worst and buggy is still the most powerful emperor of the sea really shows just how strong his base power is.

Ton Ton no Mi and Kilo Kilo no Mi are actually more useful than they were demonstrated because the users have abysmal creativity. Imagine being able to move fast and then increasing the weight behind your kicks or punches. If Sanji uses this fruit, he'd be able to maneuver infinitely better with his air walk and put much much more weight behind his kicks. Sanji can even levitate or stand in midair.
U ignored the FACT that mero mero allows the user to transform inanimate objects into stone with contact and without actually ( and maybe it's even possible with humans that don't lust her) this trait alone makes it WAYYY more useful than the rust rust fruit because of the range and also because it isn't only with metal + the sheer possibility of u turn out to be beautiful

It's important to note that Sabi Sabi no Mi might, in general, be a fruit with the power of corrosion, not just rusting; hence him being able to use it on Zoro's arm.

I feel luffys df is a bad fruit that has potential of 10, but being rubber has no power upgrades, utility idk, detriment, 10 cause there aren't really any detriment, though I'm pretty sure it keeps you as mature as a toddler
It makes you immune to punches, bullets, getting hit by cars or trains, electric discharges, increases your range by hundreds of times, it also makes your punches much stronger because you can wind the up for hundreds of metres and then it snaps back with the backlash of a rubber band, you can also eat as much as you want cause your stomach stretches. Gears only elevated the fruit from great to amazing.

The axolotl fruit could actually be op since some axolotl can live and breathe on land (maybe sort of awakening ig?), plus it would certainly give its user extreme regeneration abilities (like Marco’s fruit) since axolotl can pretty much regrow any limb he’d lose. And even if it doesn’t work on land, if you could transform, hold your breath (take a punch/shot/whatever but some sort of damage) then retransform before getting out of air and you would’ve been healed already? It’s kinda like Kaido’s fruit, it says it’s a fish fish fruit when in reality it’s a literal dragon; the possibilities might be better than we expect…
I don't agree with placement of foxy's devil fruit and here's why: Imagine if you were falling of a cliff, you could just slow yourself before landing to minimise the harm done to your body Second scenario: you have a bomb around your body(like Pedro), you could just throw the bomb slow it in the air but not the wick. Bomb will explode above ypu damaging whole cake island and you could run away

the Inu Inu No Mi Tanuki Fruit could actually have some rather amazing powers. We know some Zoan fruits give the users the mystic powers associated with their animal, and in Japanese folklore Tanuki are capable of shapeshifting.
I can't say that I agree about the placement for the kilo kilo fruit and the ton ton fruit mostly because they could probably be pretty strong in the right hands because you could for example punch someone and decrease your weight at the start and then increase your weight before hitting them which would lead to you being able to hit some one with like 500kg at whilst moving really fast.

Great list but I have to exclude the bara bara no mi in this. This fruit was the most similar to the gomu gomu no mi in some ways (not the mochi fruit it was way more powerful than the rubber fruit tho) Imagine, most of the powerful characters in the op world use swords, and being immune to these is fucking op. Even dracule mihawk, a near yonko level individual, can't cut him (even with haki) It had a lot of potential tho, imagine learning haki and rokushiki with this fruit (yeah you could see 10 flying haki infused shigans which is fucking terrifying.) It was a very strategic and tactical fruit and was way more useful if you had monstrous strength for your own raw power (not relying on only the fruit itself) Both armament and observation haki could cover up it's weakness such as taking damage to your other chopped up body parts and sensing other attacks incoming for your vulnerable body parts. Edit: It's range for midrange combat is strong too and I believe that if you trained with this fruit well, you can extend your range (just an assumption. Could be true or not) Pls correct me if I'm wrong

I feel like all of these are actually really good within their own niche. The categories were too biased towards the "strength/damage" niche, so of course these fruits got lowest ratings. Its like comparing a whole buncha apple and pineapple and asking "which of these have the smoothest skin?"
I agreed with you intil I realised 2 things. 1. majority of the one piece world or atleast where the Devil fruits are found to be relevant in is in high conflict areas or professions. 2. Other fruits who was not on this list (therefore highly rated) you could argue to have both combat and non-combat applications, so the best of both worlds

I think Ton Ton no mi has a lot of potential, especially when the user learns how to use it partly and not with the whole body. Especially for fighters who specializes in kicking (like Sanji), making their leg light could make you lift your leg faster, then making it heavier dealing a heavy blow from above, really fast too. Having the lighter body could make you evade faster, and having a heavy foot could make you not lose your footing.

The Ton Ton No Mi actually has so much potential, it's that the one that had decided to use to float up and then just fall on people. Imagine being able concentrate that weight onto your fist a split second before punching or making yourself super light so that if someone punched you, you would just float away (like a balloon or tissue paper) or make yourself super light and fast. There are so many ways to make that power extremely useful.

There's so much potential with it you can lighten your self and jump around super fast then heavyfi yourself to give super punches. Plus you can basically jump anywhere in the world by making your self super light and jumping off clouds or running on water like Brook. It's got rediculis potential. Sadly the vid just didn't think about that aspect of the fruit

On top of that, if we go by assumption than awakened paramecia affects surroundings rather than yourself, changing the mass of other objects can essentially give you infinite uses:
- Fujitora's DF - making things extremely light / very heavy. It depends on triggering distance, though Katakuri and Doflamingo did not have to directly touch surroundings to affect them,
- Making your weapon edge (like hammer) extremely heavy, essentially multiplying its momentum thousand - fold before it hits,
- Everyday use - so many ideas! Making your shopping items lighter, reducing mass of your car to improve fuel economy and dynamics, perhaps even winning races and prizes... Not to mention how such playing with physics could allow you to do so many unthinkable stuff like creating infinite energy / electricity source for example,
- possible One hit KO - just make your opponent much, much heavier and have him sink into the ground or just make him float and never return :)

I agree. It's a shame that both the Ton Ton no Mi and Kiro Kiro no Mi's users only attacked by floating up and falling on people, since in terms of raw power it's one of the best upgrades a fighter could get. Being able to instantly increase the weight of your attacks at the moment of impact while keeping all inertia and momentum is almost a physics-bending kind of attack. Zoan fruits are said the be the best fruits to upgrade raw fighting potential, but both the Ton and Kiro fruits I think do that substantially better.

If velocity stays the same during activation, it would be one of the strongest fruits in existence. Able to accelerate with a mass of nearly nothing, and then on impact have 10,000 tons of force behind it. Hell basic shave would make this fruit a 1 hit KO.
But that is just physics, and this is one piece

I think the ton ton no mi just has a dumb user. Throwing a punch and then changing your weight before the impact would be fairly useful especially if you're pretty strong and know Haki. It'd basically be a flat combat boost.

Not really cuz, if you throw a punch your initial force wouldn't be enough to keep your fist moving after you boost its mass. you would just fall fist first on the ground and probably hurt yourself if the fruit doesn't also keep the innertia.

If the issue with the axolotl is that it is a water-based creature, shouldn't kaido also be first? Also, axolotls have 'super-regenerative' abilities, and its never implied whether going into the form will prevent you from living on land (unless its somewhere I missed). The ability to regenerate lost limbs, hearts and other major organs would have serious utility benefits in any world, especially if the awakened fruit allowed the sharing of this ability in some manner.

The character in JoJo with this ability could hide underneath the ground for stealth purposes so unless you have the right technology which would be hard to come by, you will most likely not be able to tell where they are and I think could use it for it storage underground but I don't quite remember that much tbh. They could also essentially melt the ground beneath their opponents meaning they have a constant advantage where unless the opponent thinks fast, they are immediately subject to whatever lethal weapons the character has at their disposal including their bare hands if need be.
Now this ability may seem rather meh when introduced into the One Piece world since its possible to become strong enough to destroy the ground without even trying or fast enough to react to supersonic attacks and if it wasn't for Senor Pink being as strong as he was, the fruit would easily make it into the list of this video. However, from what I gathered from the video, he's ranking them on how good the fruit is to average everyday people IRL and without nigh unstoppable gods among men around, this ability would have almost no detriments whatsoever, decent potential, and fantastic utility. I feel like the potential of the Kira Kira no mi was downplayed a lot. Remember Luffy's rubber fruit doesn't just make his body act like rubber. It takes all the properties of rubber to the extreme. For example while normal rubber is a decent insulator Luffy is completely immune to electrical attacks even if they involve hundreds of millions of volts. Likewise Jozu's body likely has durability far beyond regular diamond when transformed. The man was able to block a full power attack from Hawkeye Mihawk. Haki might have been involved but if it was it wasn't visible and either way that still deserves to be recognized.
I also feel like we don't know enough to shit talk the genie fruit. We don't know if the genie's strength is related to the master or if any user would be able to create a genie with enough strength to give post timeskip Sanji some trouble. Like imagine being a random civilian and suddenly having a servant that's on the level of at least a vice admiral. Also I feel like you could find some use for a servant that strong outside of battle.

I read a fanfic where the Kilo Kilo no Mi user learned Soru, made themselves a kilo, shot off at that weight, and then increased it to the max with the same speed making them a human comet. The same can probably be done for the Ton Ton no Mi, weight control is a great ability if you are smart enough to use things like momentum, making yourself lighter to escape, or make hits much easier to take or brush off by going either direction with it.

1) Axolotls can grow back all of his limbs.
2) Axolotls can stay young for their entire life, still reaching sexual maturity. Basically they reached the eternal youth.
3) Axolotls can breathe in water (If you are weak to water that could be useful, considering you won't die of asphyxiation). They can also breathe in 4 differnt ways, through its gills, skin, "mouth" (Not really, but it's a way similar to the skin one) and trough his lungs. They're basically a Fishman and they can breathe in and out of water, even with the skin.
4) Axolotls are cute, no one would attack you.
5) Basic Zoans Speed and Strenght.
6) Axolotls are the reincarnation of the God Xolotl (For the Aztecs).
7) Axolotls can feel vibrations and movements in the water, using an organ that usually fishes have. Useless if you can't swim, but it's not that bad actually.
8) Axolotls can even repair/grow back internal organs. Yep, not only lims, but also organs.

You know, axolotls are know to be immortal just because they can regenerate all parts of their body, including their heart and brain.
I feel like you can just look at the other Zoans in the series to show you just what the Hito Hito no Mi will do. Zoans do not generally turn you into an average animal unless the animal you turn into happens to be particularly average. Take the mole woman: her full transformation gave her incredible digging power far beyond a normal mole.
In general, Zoans are less to do with the animal itself and more to do with the one specific trait the animal is known for. Someone who becomes a mole has ridiculous digging, someone who becomes a turtle has ridiculous protection, someone who turns into a bull has ridiculous headbutts, and so on. So it only makes sense, and is supported in the series, that someone who ‘becomes’ a human has ridiculous brainpower. I mean, Chopper is very clearly a genius, and none of that comes from his reindeer half. If a person ate the fruit, they would become at least as smart as he is, and although it isn’t too physically powerful, it is a pretty ridiculous power to have.

Buggy’s fruit is heavily underestimated in potential. Imagine if buggy had an awakening and was able to split his surroundings and do things like split atoms. He could set off a whole nuke whenever he wanted.
Also not mentioning even just the base of being immune to swords and being able to split, this is like a copy of the gum fruit in a way as that makes you invulnerable to all impact damage and if buggy was as fast as luffy he could basically do all of luffys moves other then the gears but you could also say he could make his internal organs dodge attacks and so so so so so so much more

Axolotl fruit is actually useful, and would really benefit Shanks. Oda has confirmed that devil fruit users can't swim even in freshwater, but it's sea salt that deactivates the actual power (hence why sea prism stone works even though it's a solid). Axolotls can regenerate from nonfatal injuries. So if you submerged in a bath, you would get regeneration powers. Has limited use in battle, but the ability to fully heal so long as you win the fight is pretty amazing. You could fight really recklessly and surprise your opponent by being willing to lose an arm to get a kill, then grow the arm back.
I think Jozu's fruit should've have way higher potential for a reason you mentioned in your devil fruit encyclopedia: if his Awakening acts as the other paramecia awakenings, instant billionaire. You didn't specify potential as battle or piracy specific

Putting that fruit as the single worst fruit in One Piece when it's reasonable to assume it would allow you to breathe under water and regenerate whole limbs isn't something I can agree with. Particularly when you consider that Zoans are said to increase physical strength. Look at Kaku's giraffe; an animal whose limbs can easily break, who can barely lower itself enough to drink water, whose diet is purely vegetal, yet it still was a major boost for Kaku's power.

@@haukness It's hard to say for certain as the story is pretty wonky and inconsistent on this point, but it seems you don't have full access to your devil fruit power when in contact with sea water. Jack survived because his "natural" half is a fishman. If you eat this fruit, your "natural" half (and therefore, seemingly the only half you have access to) would be the half that, in fact, cannot breath underwater.
I feel both the kilo kilo no mi and the ton ton no mi fruits have amazing potential that their users simply didn't have the capacity to use. Both of their powers would be amazing if used while attacking an enemy, to drastically increase the weight behind their attacks, and essentially making them stronger. Similar to the diamond diamond fruit, but instead of just being really hard, your fist weights as much as a train, and gets insane momentum.
Dude the mero Mero no mi does not function like that. Yes she can turn people into stone instantly if they are in love with them but that is not the case at all with alot of other attacks like Kiss pistol which is just Haki infused with the hearts or the Slave Arrows and Perfume Femur which can turn people and objects into stone even if they are not in love with the target or lusting over them like Boa did turning cannon ammo and Pacifistas into stone and you re not gonna tell me Pacifistas suddenly can feel love or lust cause they cannot.
i think slave arrow only works because everyone is in love with her, because when she used pistol kiss, which i basically just a single shot from slave arrow, it didn't work on luffy. she can turn any object to stone though, so that's enough to get it off the list for sure.

All the detriments to zoan fruits you list are very arbitrary.
Saying a racoon-dog, a datsun, or a axolotl aren't powerful makes as much sense as saying that a falcon or a cow isn't powerful. Pell wasnt as fragile as a real bird (which definitely can't survive bombs) Rob lucie doesn't sleep as much as a real leopard (most of the day) and, say a spider lady wouldn't be as small as a real spider.

I actually see how you can use the Ton Ton No Mi incredibly well. You could create a fighting style based around striking enemies and increasing the weight of your blows at just the right time to not weaken them, but empower them with the weight. And considering how weight works, you probably increase your density or mass or whatever, meaning you'd be alot harder to escape due to the increased gravitational pull. But even if that's not how it works, you could still make alot of uses out of it. The biggest one I see being the possibility of increasing the weight of *other* people as well, which could be incredibly useful in support *and* combat. It's just a shame that, alike the bomb fruit, it's never really put to good use.
Yeah unless he's getting to planet level of weight, the gravitational pull is going to be literally nothing, and even if he could make himself weigh as much as a planet, that would only theoretically double gravity, which would slow down exactly 0 charactets with any kind of strength in tnis show. Hell, I'm pretty sure Usopp could escape double gravity pretty easily

I agree with almost everything on this list exept with the number one: im sure many people already noted that the axolotl has super regenerative abilities, being able to regenerate parts of his brain too, but unlike what you stated, they CAN breath air since they also posses lungs, but its also true that they spend very little of their lifetime on land. Any dog model zoan essentially makes you a werewolf, now you might look stupid but you still have enhanced senses and strength. The tanuki fruit most likely gives shape shifting abilities since the tailed fox did. Decken was a poor user of a good fruit and his line about it only being destructive is proven false even Decken initially used his power to deliver messages before he got obsessed, if he were a spy or a smuggler incredibly useful also he moved the Noah which means it could definitely be used for transportation. The kilo kilo and the ton ton suffer the same fate of being judged by the user and not the fruit both would tremendously improve combat skills if they were used by martial artists incredibly useful and as far as I could tell only the ton ton had a flaw of the user taking damage with a miss. And if we're going to categorize worse zoan fruits where is the giraffe? The giraffe only worked with Kaku's specific style of martial arts most people would cry if they got the giraffe only gaining an extra ten feet of exposed neck for a swordsman. If you are making the distinction between poor fruit and poor users which is what he claimed not a good list.

The Nagi Nagi no Mi can be extremely potent in tactical situations. Imagine a battlefield like maybe the Paramount war. If someone there could prevent communication between admirals/vice-admirals and the grunts that could revolutionize war. I think you might underestimate how important communication is in warzones or even in general. Imagine being able to stop communication entirely by creating different sound barriers. The tactical advantage would be enormous

Sometimes it’s fun to imagine if Luffy had gotten any one of these devil fruits and the creative ways he could have used them to maximize their potential. Really I think you could make just about any devil fruit legendary with the right imagination, no matter how useless they are on the surface. I mean for all intents and purposes Luffy is a Stretch Armstrong man going up against people who can turn into dragons, reanimate armies of the dead, or mummify humans on touch.

The ability of changing your weight isn't terrible. You can make all your physical attacks harder by increasing your weight, you can make enemy physical attacks softer by decreasing your weight, and you can evade enemy attacks easier by decreasing your weight. Most importantly, it works well with haki.
not how it works for defense at least. You would coat yourself in haki and make yourself heavier to make a harder wall for them to hit but making you lighter makes you flying in top tier case kaido would send you to the next island if you had no weight at all.

Making yourself heavier and unable to be sent flying would increase the damage you take because none of the force would be converted into momentum, youd have to tank all of it.
I think this is a key difference between the Ton Ton no mi and Kilo no mi. The Ton Ton fruit only allows you to increase your weight, but the Kilo Kilo no mi allows you to decrease it as well. Weighing very little is highly underrated I think. A giant wouldn't be able to hit you because of the pressure wave of air from their punches. You could basically surf on the air with enough practice.

One can change quickly by the ton while the other is just by kilogram. I guess you could theoretically train with the Kilo no mi to make it basically able to do the same thing, but right after being eaten, the Ton no mi is definitely better.

The difference is not only mass itself but material too. A rubber balloon can be destroyed way easier than a giant rubber ball that ways like 10 times more. The key difference is the impact force you create this would be mostly denied since there is no mass to accelerate. If you awaken the fruit and make kaido's club lighter than a balloon you would take away much of the force the hit created but doing the same to you won't help you much. It's like saying just because the car hit a fly the fly would feel almost nothing since it weighs less. The car is gonna get squashed on the windshield while an elephant per say might destroy the car. So make yourself way way way heavier use haki and you will create a defense that breaks all non haki weapons easily.
Honestly the Ton Ton no mi can have tons of potential, especially when awakened. When not awakened a fighter can use the weight changes to make their punches stronger or quickly dodge attacks. When awakened you can change the weight of pretty much anything. So like a swordsman who makes their sword light when to swing and increase the weight as it’s brought down. Or increasing be weight of clothes to stop most from moving. Throwing a pebble at someone to make it basically a slow bullet. Awakening it would give it such spectacular capabilities to a seemingly useless ability

In general, I think you're underestimating Zoan fruits. Look at Chopper - all his forms (ESPECIALLY his rumble ball-induced monster form) are so much more than simply "reindeer+human". Zoan fruits don't just give you the ability to Turn Into The Thing, it gives you the ability to take those forms and amp them up like mad.
I believe it was stated at least a couple of times that Zoan fruits generally give you a physical power boost.

I would have to disagree with the noro noro no mi for potential or utility. If you could adjust the slowness of the rays you could possibly reach internal youth by slowing down your aging or injuries and maybe even diseases.
I also disagree with it. Since it is outright time manipulation even so in just slowing it down. We could also observe that all objects get slowed down to the same creeping speed. That means now matter what the force was its all slowed down to the same level. On a physicalic perspective this is insane just like he mentioned in the terms of scientific potential. Yes it needs creative use to utiliate the utmost of the fruite but that should skyrocket its potential score since the possibilitys are so great. I think the fruite is judged on the bias of the character in use. I can easily imagine a protagonist or antagonist with a similar power that would be called overpowered beyond.

For the Kira Kira you could untransform small joints like how figurines work where only the joints rotate so you could move more and you could would wear light armor on your joints to protect them.
Foxy's power is pretty strong. Just think of it like this, a super strong fruit user is your opponent, just hit him once with your beam, and then let your crew put sea stone handcuffs on or wrap him in sea stone chains, it'll probably work on a yonko.

The chop chop fruit could actually be super cool with armament haki. Turn your body into thin slices and shoot them around like blades with armament. Could be a very potent weapon that way. The lowered mobility argument is literally null, since it's shown that strong characters like Luffy and Doflamingo are able to use their devil fruits powers, atleast the very very basic forms of them, stretching and making strings, without using up any energy. Luffy can stretch for as long as he wants, it's not going to tire him out. And Jozu was a member of white beards crew, we can assume he can use his power whenever, however he wants. Hey fun fact the chiyu chiyu no mi (heal fruit) also has the ability to use other peoples life span as a way to get a healing orb, so power is actually really fucking strong since if you have an opponent pinned down to the point of no moving you can slowly drain their life span (I don‘t necessarily know if the person giving the life has to physically give it or if it just gets taken)

I didn't know that the Ton Ton fruit was a thing. I had assumed that it was the Kilo Kilo fruit because by the Dressrosa arc it is made clear that when a Devil Fruit user dies their Devil Fruit returns as Ace's did. I had simply assumed that maybe Miss Valentine had died but even after watching the Alabastsa arc a second time I'm still not too clear if a lot of the work Baroque Works agents were killed off. (Then again we were debating if Spandam had died after what Nico Robin did to him.)
It was covered by Oda in the manga that several of the numbered agents simply got away and opened a cafe to live out their days, the only ones the Marines actually caught were Mr. 3, 2, and 1, as well as Crocodile.
Additionally, Oda also covered an even more broken ability of Eneru's Devil Fruit in that he's living on the moon, apparently his Devil Fruit allows him to live without food, water, or oxygen, literally making him a pseudo-immortal.

Honestly I think the Kira Kira no Mi (Diamond)’s weakness can be mitigated by implementing it like knight’s armor; you simply don’t have it used at places where you have joints or moving parts. Sure it would take a lot of control and it leaves you weaker at the joints, but you could instantly harden those areas in a pinch!
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m just rooting hard for this fruit because diamond + Haki would be such a strong combination.

Pekoms was an idiot in how he used his fruit, turtles are really powerful. Sure they are slow, but in order to lift their shells they have to have tremendous strength. A Galapagos tortoise could theoretically lift a Volkswagen Beetle. And you do not want to be bitten by any turtle, trust me.
I Do believe that the "Hito-Hito No Mi" consumed by a Human, would allow SOME and maybe interesting powers, like the rest of the Zoan group. For example it could turn allow the user to change into different humans, either by just appearance, or even choose what to change in your own body (maybe even race, age, gender). the other Changes that should give are physical boosts, just like Chopper get from it, forms that enhance his: speed, strength, defense, intelligence, etc. I DO think the increase in power should be multiplied from base form, but with time and training I bet those can increase in power and even develop new forms. Lets not forget these fruits power/potential is a mixture of (narration/story telling, and how creative the user can be). Something to keep in mind. We assume that human+human=human, no change at all...but not every human is the same, and what exactly defines a human? This fruit has such a high POTENTIAL power on a human is impossible to determine. Human potential is almost infinite (and thats something shown in most worlds/stories), a fruit that allows a human tap into that potential sounds really interesting. (I would give it a shot! and take the curse risk. It HAS to do something....we haven't seen a single fruit that does NOTHING)
I'm not going to say this is the best fruit ever, but I do believe the Zoan fruits get a bad reputation because they are portraited as a gimmick and they are used as a single trick power. (then again I'm vias to the Zoan group)

I'm surprised that Luffy's fruit is not on this list. Luffy struggled as a child just getting the hang of being a rubber man. And at its base it's a pretty weak fruit too, since Luffy had a devil fruit and couldn't even beat Ace with his own devil fruit. The rubber fruit relies on its user for strength and power. And Luffy is the main character so we get to see the rubber fruit being pushed way beyond it's limits. Gear 4 is Luffy infusing a lot of haki while being creative with the fruit. I'm sure a normal user of the rubber fruit wouldn't be as creative or train as much as Luffy has with his fruit.
You forgetting that being rubber means taking considerable less damage overall. Being bullet and cannon proof and no damage from electricity.
It was honestly probably saved by the potential category which Luffy has shown to be way higher than first anticipated. Otherwise I have no doubt it’s be here

Luffy pushed his fruit to the point where he had to come up with something new in order for the fruit to continue being useful to him against more powerful foes. Gear 2nd and Gear 4th has more to do with the user more than the fruit. Luffy is just basically using different techniques and applying to it the fruit's rubber properties in order to get a desired effect.

Imagine being able to move fast and then increasing the weight behind your kicks or punches. If Sanji uses this fruit, he'd be able to maneuver infinitely better with his air walk and put much much more weight behind his kicks. Sanji can even levitate or stand in midair.
U ignored the FACT that mero mero allows the user to transform inanimate objects into stone with contact and without actually ( and maybe it's even possible with humans that don't lust her) this trait alone makes it WAYYY more useful than the rust rust fruit because of the range and also because it isn't only with metal + the sheer possibility of u turn out to be beautiful

The gomu gumu fruit makes you immune to blunt attacks by default. It's not a bad fruit, it's more like average.
It makes you immune to punches, bullets, getting hit by cars or trains, electric discharges, increases your range by hundreds of times, it also makes your punches much stronger because you can wind the up for hundreds of metres and then it snaps back with the backlash of a rubber band, you can also eat as much as you want cause your stomach stretches. Gears only elevated the fruit from great to amazing.

The axolotl fruit could actually be op since some axolotl can live and breathe on land (maybe sort of awakening ig?), plus it would certainly give its user extreme regeneration abilities (like Marco’s fruit) since axolotl can pretty much regrow any limb he’d lose.
And even if it doesn’t work on land, if you could transform, hold your breath (take a punch/shot/whatever but some sort of damage) then retransform before getting out of air and you would’ve been healed already?

I don't agree with placement of foxy's devil fruit and here's why:
Imagine if you were falling of a cliff, you could just slow yourself before landing to minimise the harm done to your body
Second scenario: you have a bomb around your body(like Pedro), you could just throw the bomb slow it in the air but not the wick. Bomb will explode above ypu damaging whole cake island and you could run away

I can't say that I agree about the placement for the kilo kilo fruit and the ton ton fruit mostly because they could probably be pretty strong in the right hands because you could for example punch someone and decrease your weight at the start and then increase your weight before hitting them which would lead to you being able to hit some one with like 500kg at whilst moving really fast.

It was a very strategic and tactical fruit and was way more useful if you had monstrous strength for your own raw power (not relying on only the fruit itself)
Both armament and observation haki could cover up it's weakness such as taking damage to your other chopped up body parts and sensing other attacks incoming for your vulnerable body parts.
Edit: It's range for midrange combat is strong too and I believe that if you trained with this fruit well, you can extend your range (just an assumption. Could be true or not)

@@riabliobe2944 that was a good question tho. It is not yet confirmed but I guess that his body parts will just fall to the ground and he wont be able to go back into his original form no matter what he do

I feel like all of these are actually really good within their own niche. The categories were too biased towards the "strength/damage" niche, so of course these fruits got lowest ratings.
Its like comparing a whole buncha apple and pineapple and asking "which of these have the smoothest skin?"
I agreed with you intil I realised 2 things. 1. majority of the one piece world or atleast where the Devil fruits are found to be relevant in is in high conflict areas or professions. 2. Other fruits who was not on this list (therefore highly rated) you could argue to have both combat and non-combat applications, so the best of both worlds

I think Ton Ton no mi has a lot of potential, especially when the user learns how to use it partly and not with the whole body. Especially for fighters who specializes in kicking (like Sanji), making their leg light could make you lift your leg faster, then making it heavier dealing a heavy blow from above, really fast too. Having the lighter body could make you evade faster, and having a heavy foot could make you not lose your footing.
