Newly Saved Jeremiah Upshur Testifying July 1995 w/ Pastor Steve Upshur and Altar Call

At the time of this video, I had been born again for exactly 6 days. My experience in encountering Christ was new and real. Pastor Steve Upshur (my dad) had asked me to testify in front of the church on Sunday morning. This is that video. Most people in the congregation at New Life that day were completely caught off guard by this new news and the fact that I was on stage talking about Jesus. It was a shocker to everyone. I indeed was changed and had been radically saved. I had just turned 17 years old.
here below is a more recent video of myself explaining my experience of how I encountered Christ in July of 1995 - and also the future story of myself drifting from the Lord, and returning home in 1998 for good.
